I havn't read all this, so sorry, but any chance it autodetects textures, models, and sprites in the specified grf and generates the selection list instead of needing to update romodel and such...

I can't speak for anybody else but if we start a fund here I will donate 10 dollars for borg to be received once the finished version is released. If people donate also it might help him with time. I'm sure he has a life and family to provide for which involves working. This takes from that!

I wonder if there is an error-free version of BrowEdit today. I have been trying to use this tool for a few months, but I can not because this error always appears: Browedit.exe caused ACCESS_VIOLATION in module. I have already tried using windows 7, 8 and now 10. I think I am within the parameters of use. I also changed the notebook twice and still the error persists. Anyway ... If there is any solution to my problem and someone can help, I will be very grateful.
Thank you in advance for the answer.

The tool windows aren't working on mine, and I am getting a lot of errors.

(Something also happened to upper right quarter of the screen)

Anyone knows how to fix?

EDIT : For everyone with the same problem, here is why.

Just talked to Borf, he said its because the shaders currently does not support Intel graphic cards.

Perhaps it will soon be compatible with Intel graphic cards.

Just walked by and fixed some bugs:

http://roworkshop.com/Browedit.rar

You need to put this EXE into the latest BrowEdit from github's "vs2015" subfolder.

And don't forget to download "blib" git repository contents into the "blib" subfolder of BrowEdit, or you will experience a gray square bug like @vBrenth did ?

Bugs fixed:

- data directory is now read with higher priority than GRF files which fixes the bug when BrowEdit loaded an unmodified map after modification and saving into data folder

- implemented a (custom and basic) colors support when generating light map from light objects

- fixed not reading / not saving light objects "range" param

- fixed not saving light object "color" param after object edit

- fixed crash when selecting any light in object edit mode

- note: custom light intensity parameter is now ignored

Source code:

https://github.com/Bynsu/browedit

https://github.com/Bynsu/blib

Fixed some more bugs:

- Fixed lightmap calculation Z being a bit more offset than light position

- (texture edit) Can now add tiles with mouse drag

- (object edit) Can now select lights with mouse

- (object edit) Presing P will now open selected objects properties

Full: http://roworkshop.com/BrowEdit_full.rar

EXE only: http://roworkshop.com/Browedit.rar

Hey there,

everything seems to work so far, but for some reason I can't navigate around the map. I can zoom in and out but thats it, no rotation or any kind of other movement possible. Anybody an idea how to fix that?
