Ceres and FluxCP are completely safe if used correctly. If settings are left at their defaults and modifications are applied that are not penetration tested correctly, bad things happen. There is absolutely nothing wrong with either CP package, merely the idiots who use them incorrectly. If you were hacked, you were obviously foolish enough to leave a security exploit to begin with such as a default password or misconfiguration security setting. It is not our job to teach you common sense- perhaps if you lack the proper understanding of basic security measurements server hosting is not for you. A game server as *Athena may be, basic security features/practices still apply to it.

With this diff your guildname and partyname will be shown with fakename too. As example it helps if you write a easy title system that uses fakename. Nothing special but can be useful for someone. I actually made it because the old one was outdated. fakename.diff

Hi, Rathena! This is my first time to 'try' to create a design for a website(flux). I'm trying to figure out what logo, background, and navigation bar should fit into this site. Any comments and suggestions are welcome! ^^ Logo, navigation bar, and right side bar will be made out of flash except for login panel.. as i don't have any idea how to make user authentication for flash + php. anyone wants to help? Since I'm still developing the map (honestly, I think I won't stop developing it until summer time lol) I would like to show the last updates I add to it. Though you can read "Sleepless Beauty" in the screenshots, map name was changed to isle of Nott lol. You can use the name you like most though. You can access this map through a ship (minimap done by Daegaladh) This is the last updates screenshot (as you can see, it has a brighter look and a new plaza in the middle of the city) (old plaza here, it was changed for a Nott statue xD) NEW INDOORS In development Map is available for purchase to those who have protected GRF (75$ only the main city map, 125$ for the pack with all the maps/sprites and future updates). lol with this guy really... He says "I dont have the time to read, or to learn bla bla bla" and he asks other users to make the work for him, just because he wants and he is upset if someone will charge for that... Excuse me but, what a loser. Protect something agains PHP/SQL Hacking methods, it is not like requesting a script, or simple things... It is something very extensive that if you want to be 100% sure, you can't trust anyone to do that work for you. It is something made progressly, and it is necessary to be up to date to date with it, every time... so who will have the time to do this for you everyday? no one. Start to learn if you feel disrespected with paying for the time of SOMEONE and good luck.

Be careful with your language, we are not all here for money; I never gained one dollar from all my work and contribution on RO, it was for free each time; and I hope some persons here share this feeling. So now, why I don't code a fix right now ? 1) I don't have the time (and don't want to get the time). 2) Hackers will know this issue and will hack all old revisions (95% of actuals pservers ?). 3) It's not so easy to perform and required some parameters (that's why I don't think a lot of person know this hack). 4) I don't love fluxCP mentality (donation module). Now if fluxCP devs pm me, I will say them how to fix this problem. But I don't want to take my time to talk to them to secure noobs-donations servers that have no knowledge about coding/administrate a server.
