  1. I found it by chance! It's in "malaya"
  2. Uhm I'm not sure, but I've seen it somewhere o.o ... do you have the map with the model available? I know a trick to find what a model is fast :3 you can do this: 1. Copy the model with F2, and paste it on a new map. It can be 20 x 20 or something small. The map should only have this model (Also making new maps in Browedit 1 works fine!) 2. Open the rsw file of the map that you just made with the model, with notepad or notepad ++ 3. You can now see what the model is called and even its folder in the grf, in the first lines of the file :3
  3. Ohh ty @sader1992! I didn't know what that was for xp
  4. It looks very good! and with the size, you can have expectators watching the battle x3 ooh! What was the name of the village, Alpen? :3
  5. Hii! Some time ago I finally finished the second version that I had promised of this map in the section of Projects and Concepts in Progress: This is also my second map ever finished x3 The first version was made in September of 2018, but one of these is a slightly revisited version of that older one, and the second one has certain parts of the public area changed :3 Note: I'm using some of the screenies from that post to avoid uploading unnecessarily, since the map looks the same essentially ☆★☆Previews☆★☆ Path to the Gods ver. This is the first version with some fixes. This area looks more "simple" than the second one, as the idea is that this place is "sacred", unlike the second one. Path to Glory ver. This is the second version. This is more like a true colosseum, with banners and even an ornated place from where the royalty or rulers can oversee the battle below. - The areas for the public are walkable, in case someone wants to add NPCs as spectators or wants to use those areas otherwise. - The fighting areas of both versions are almost exactly the same except for one tiny detail, but the difference is mostly aesthetic. - Oh and I really enjoyed working on this map! I took so long to showcase it because I was working on other maps, projects and irl, and I wanted it to be perfect, and because I had said that it was going to have these two versions. - There will definitely be a third version of this map that will vary much, much more from these two (and it will definitely not take one year to appear x.x). I hope you like it!
  6. OMG, it looks really really good Tio Akima!! * A *
  7. O M G I've just found out that this exists >_> Thanks ; w ;
  8. Well, for me Pre-Renewal best times were when my guildies and I made parties and invited whoever wanted to join, and we'd go to Juperos or Abbey (that is, to places where you could go along others, even casually at times, without necessarily being the most pro group of players or heavily equipped) and we didn't care much about the items or not, just about having fun x3 Although Abbey was one of the best and most entertining places to level up, specially since one of my favourite jobs was High Priest. I think in Renewal this is kind of lost, and people focus more on the places that give either the best items or the best experience. Therefore, I think it'd be great if other areas became a bit more difficult so it poses a challenge for the 3rd jobs, had their drops improved or were expanded upon, instead of simply focusing on going exclusively to the newest area, such as in Renewal (This is one reason that one of my personal map projects is about expanding certain dungeons, but that still won't be finished in a while ^^;). What I love about Renewal though, that I wish we had in Pre-Renewal, is the possibility to continue making your character grow, to be able to use more skills and have new jobs. Some of the new job sprites (specially the jRO ones, not so much some of the kRO ones) look REALLY GREAT as well and there are so many more things to do, collect or wear implemented that it's also a good experience for when you're a bit bored of reaching the end of the game in the classic RO.
  9. Hii! It looks good, it's really well done as they said before x3 the spaces are also well thought of, the texures well chosen as well. You're very talented >w< And uhm, for me the easiest way to make sky lightmaps and its shadows is simply to use Browedit 2, that includes all of the options mentioned above in a single click, and gives you a very detailed and smooth enough lightmap :3 It also allows you to change the angle of said light very easily. The only problem with making lightmaps with it so far is that Browedit 2 is a bit difficult to install and set up, but let me know if I can help you! If you're not in Borf's Browedit Discord channel yet, I'll send you the link x3 Good luck and have a very good time mapping~!
  10. np! I love how the plants look much more crisp and the trees way better than in the original. And the harmony in colors looks much better now as well. That place also bring me memories from my very first day in RO ? I wish they had made this change alongside the new Prontera, but you did it way better x3
  11. Since we're still in time of Hanami, and it's been almost exactly one year since I finished this map, I've made a revisited version, and also a version with fallen sakura petals (the new version has 1355 more models). I made a youtube showcase for that and added it to the post ^^ Have a nice day~!
  12. omg I'ts very beautiful! I love this type of illumination
  13. I finally had time to finish this map xP I should be able to showcase it soon x3 This is from the second version (and several fixes, alongside the first one). Now I only need to remake the shadows after the last revisions
  14. Oooh that looks very interesting, like a map with the lights turned off, but where you can still walk around x3 hmhm, I think you can change the light on the objects by changing the angle of the main light a lot. In Brow 1 it's in Window - Global Lightning, and in Brow 2 it's in Window - Map Settings.
  15. Hi! Have you tried using Browedit 2? It has a tool to draw shadows. If that doesn't work, then I have an indea: 1. This is very important, because Browedit 2 will bug Browedit 1 lightbulbs positions: Save a copy of the map (with "save as...") in another folder. In this new map, delete all the lightmaps completely. 2. Open with Browedit 2. They won't have a shadow, BUT you can use those objects as guides to draw shadows manually in Browedit 2 like this: - First, in Brow 2, you have to click on Actions - Lightmaps - "Unique Maps". Clicking once on it will activate it, even if it doesn't have a mark next to it. - Second: In Editmode, Click on Lightmap Edit. You can increase or decrease the darkness with the keys next to 0. Change the shadow shape with the left and arrow keys. Or delete a shadow with the right click. You can draw them manually, following the angles of the other shadows so they look natural. (Uhm I think the normal shadow darkness is 128, but try the one that fits better) 3. Save, and close. Important: When you save in Browedit 2, do so with the right click. If you use the left click, the menues have a bug right now, so you'll accidentally draw shadows on the map as you save ^^; although you may still need to click on an empty area of the map as to not delete any shadow 4. Open it again with Browedit 1, and export the lightmap. Then, place the bmp files in the folder with your original map, or change their name accordingly. 5. Now, open your original map. Generate lightmap without those objects. Then add the objects, and import the lightmap. Now you'll have both the lightmap for small lights correctly generated in browedit 1, and those extra shadows that you made in Browedit 2. Setting up Browedit 2 can be more confusing than Brow 1, but we can help yu in the Browedit Discord: https://discord.gg/D6hXjQ I think that's it. GOOD LUCK! ?
  16. It's very beautiful, kind of like the Smurfs village ?
  17. Hii! Please help me understand this. I'm new to this kind of thing and this seems very complicated xP I'm not sure I understand what I'm doing with this ^^; I went to the inter_cong file and changed it to a user and a pass that I made up. But I don't understand what the step 4 means. Is it a different program or an internet page? By removing an old user, it's the same as changing user credentials, right? I tried to add the user credentials that I made up and wrote in inter_conf, but I have no idea if I did the right thing. When I start the server with the 3 black windows, I just see everything the same as before... Please explain a little more, thank u! . EDIT: Someone explained to me that this doesnt' matter at all, since in my case, I'm just using this to test maps and I'm never going to make it an online server ;>
  18. ahah don't worry at all, thanks! And you're welcome! ^^ Modifications preview Nº 1! (Maybe it's still hard to notice ^^;)
