I use to extract .grf more 3gb and works, what version are you using?

Download jRO too.

Download, install and extract kRO server, all you need is in rdata.grf.

I find it unnecessary to honestly install the emulator on the pc itself to test the will the emulator is much easier and simpler and does not generate headache and financial expense for the community.

Yes, it is possible. Just add your head sprites in correct sprite folder and chance hstyle, i'm not in home for post folder name but, at night i do.
