Hi Smoke, There is no code that can save 100+ servers; otherwise I wouldn't have to go out of my way to spend a lot of money on a dedicated filter for my own services. If it was really that simple, I am sure everyone would be using IPTables instead of spending hundreds on a DDOS Protected Dedicated Server. Wouldn't you think if there was a ruleset that could fully prevent a DDOS attack from working, people would have already replied to this topic by now? Think about it logically.

Hello everyone! I figured I'd just make one of these threads that I have as my official free 'map' thread. Listed below is some maps I've done that are free to the public. I do not wish for them to be edited, but they ARE free and you are free to edit them. You are ALSO free to contact me if you need something edited specifically for your server from these maps. CREDITS would be awesome and please do NOT take credit for my work. It's bothersome and makes me a very sad panda ;~; Also you guys are more than free to add me on Facebook. It was supposed to be kitty themed for events, there are no indoors maps at this time although i'd love to, at one point, make the indoors maps. The map HASNT been used yet, so if you find any glitches feel free to let me know. Two things that was asked of me for this map was an area for weddings and a 'gm only' area. Thats what the two paws are for, you can walk through the water to the wedding area but only GMs will be able to warp to the other paw, unless players get lucky with Fwings. =] Hope you guys like it. I am dissatisfied with existing Control Panels for various reasons. I think I can do better, and hence Gorgon was born. This project is a modern framework with modular design, such that all components should be able to work independently of each other. This allows for an easily extendable framework at the same time. Who am I? I'm Trojal (from UnityRO, TempestRO, uv-RO). I've been coding around *athena for about 6 years now, though usually not on the main engine because my code changes are customizations rather than on the official development track. When will this come out? I'm going to do a 2-3 week code sprint on this, and evaluate the state of the project mid-June 2012. If there are major snags, then the project will probably be dropped. If things are going smoothly, then I can release it publicly at that time. What is this post? I'm posting to ask for suggestions and specifications as to what you (as players or server administrators) would like to see in a control panel. What features are missing from other control panels, and what features are just the basics from other control panels that you find necessary? Hi Smoke, What makes you think that by allowing a certain size that your attacks would not just generate packets which fit your criteria to spam those ports? It'd be better if you used a packet limit per second with a burst, and if an IP exceeds that limit; drop the connection.

Right now it does not trigger for npc's loaded via @loadnpc. I think it is a confusing and unlogical behavior. Do you think we should change this?

it doesn't matter. you can put it to any script / mapflag file. just put the mapname, like prontera mapflag nochat etc.

Okay going to fix that problem.

- Update : - Added 4 new Requested Scripts - Checked the Guess the Number Event,and normal Players aren't able to start the event,just the first time if a Player talks to the NPC,the NPC announces,that the Guess the number Event started,so the Players are not able to start it,because it starts with the OnMinute script command. - Now added the Guess the Number not automated event,which is just going to start if a GM lvl 40 or higher activates it. More changes coming soon.

..speaking of that topic...i have a story.. me and my friends used to play on a RO private server around 2010. It was a high rate server.. it was a good server! No Lag.. Helpful GM's... also friendly ! in the first 2 weeks when were playing on that server when I entered the PVP Arena. My character there is Champ! and then a wizard hit me Level 10 Soul Strike with a damage of 4k each! lol ! so i did nevermind about that.. 4 weeks later when we discovered that 1 of the GM's there has a normal account(s) and putting unbalanced BS there. So we just uninstalled their client and play Super Mario xD
