hello all here the problem, thor version: 2.6.4.13b i already set correctly all the setting PatcherSum=1234235 PatcherPath=newskin.thor The patcher updating new patcher without fail, but after reaching to completion, the patcher close itself and left out temp.exe(new patcher with new skin) inside RO folder without replacing it to the old patcher, and when running the patcher again, it will start updating again dan close by itself again.. i search around the forum and seem nobody have this problem. thanks to whoever that reply or try to help me here..

Some configuration entries are deprecated. Additionally, as you can tell, script support is coming... System Requirement: Windows 2000 or higher. Features Pack into single/multi grf file(s) [0x200] Automatically generates GRF if not exist RGZ support Customizable skin & language entries Background music No extra dll, not even config file is needed when distribute. Embed config file and resource data (images for background/buttons) Custom Button Remote config file Self update and client update [supports multi client exe update(Up to 255)] Tools ConfigGenerator - Packs configuration and resources into the patcher or generate as a binary config pack. ThorMaker - make patch files into thor file, there two options file & grf, when choose file, the patcher will extract file into disk, and grf simply put in GRF. So i installed cloudflare at my website and i think cloudflare is blocking my thor patcher? or i just missed some configurations to do. is it possible to host thor patcher on a webhost with cloudflare? when im trying to config it to connect to xampp(localhost) it functions well...but when i try to replace the address to my webhost its stucked at that

My patcher will definitely connect to server and I am able to play through the patcher, but my client does not receive any downloads from the patcher itself. Also, when the patcher is clicked, it won't generate any update.dat files. I'm using DigitalOcean as my VPS provider. config.ini main.ini ADDENDUM: Found the problem.

Hi guys, does someone know if i can patch a grf file into my standard grf file? i am having an encrypted grf file which i want to patch into my standard grf file, but i don't know if thor patcher is then merging the 2 grfs or overwriting my standard grf with the one he should patch. I have no chance of testing if its works, i can only deploy the patch live, and if the patcher overwrites the standard grf with the encrypted one, every user will have to download like 80mb again, which is not acceptable. (the encrypted one only has some sprites and maps in it, like 1mb or sth, my standard grf has about 80) Greets chriser

good example is Aeomin for releasing Thor Patcher. everything is secured specially the code of this project. and also Functor for his paid service Gepard. you should only blame your self for this big mistake not the others. btw we are not related and also i didn't host anything on his hosting company.i hosted my own server on another hosting company but i know Skyzone more better than you.

is it possible to delete a whole folder in client directory ? for example if i want to delete the folder named System in cilent directory not inside grf if its possible please let me know how to do it please let me know thank you it will help a lot

Hello, so eventually... This is my first ever patcher that I made (and along the way, I learned a lot of new things! It's nice to do it on your own.). I made it as simple as possible (and for my next patchers), and easy to manipulate and as neat as I could. So, without further ado, here it is. P.S. I still can't believe I made this and I posted it here. P.S. If you have the time to rate or critic it, 1 is the lowest and 10 is the highest, you may do so, and if you have any opinions/suggestions that might help me gain more knowledge on this field (designing/programming), you are freely able to do so. Also, under the "YourRO", it's supposed to be the Updates/News if you're wondering why I placed it there. Thank you!

hi, i want to loop patcher music. i tried several version thor the result was same. i set config loop to true value. it only play once and stop. long time a go like 3 years ago. i can make thor patcher the music loop. but now cant. i kinda confuse what's the problem. thor 2.6.4.8

I'm currently using Thor 2.6.4.8 and some players simple can't open the client after finishing updating. I would like to know what's the best version to use Thor Patcher right now. Thank you for your time =)

Sorry but Thor it's like almost 10 years old or more, then the https connections were not like a standard thing like nowadays. Thor can't handle https, just like that, you need to drop https support in your patch hosting in order to thor to connect to the URL, I just figured it out like a day or two. For example, svn.code.sf.net/p/froggyro/patches/plist.txt, as you can see it's not a secure connections (https), thus my thor can reach to this point and continue. If you don't want to drop https then you need to change patcher, I can recommend rpatchur, It handles both https and http and it uses thor patch scheme

dont use domain name in your thor patcher, put your ip address of your server in your thor patcher ?

Hi Guys, I would like to ask how to insert item using thor patcher. I would like to add custom item on my server however when I already updated the following accname,accessory id,idnum2itemdesctable,idnum2displaynametable, idnum2itemresnametable , itemslotcountable and spr / act. Also updated Item_db. the patch is completing however when I @item the item that I inserted it giving me error "@item failed" Is there a video or guide that I need to follow of I missed some steps. Looking forward for your expert response. Thank you,
