Ragnarok Anti-Hack Project ( Under Development )

Hello, Since I'm almost done making my GRF Encryptor/Decryptor + Client Configuration , I made a new Project which can prevents hack tools to help rathena members whom cannot afford buying such as Harmony. And im willing too to implement Auto-Ban when using hack tools.

 

So , now i have started adding some source code but , i am still analyzing and studying each of the code written in every source code file.

 

Now , What im gonna asking to all if you can also share what you have learn in every source code file especially to the Community Contributors about the functions to reduce my time studying/analyzing the code. . I would appreciate and glad to those who will share their learning's about this. 

 

Just PM me and Feel free to share your knowledge about the source code functions .

every PC have 1 mac  address, instead of checking IP it is easier to check mac address, for example no dual login, so you will check the mac address in that case, I hope that this project will succeed

When he open the WPE or RPE or Romedic application, he will be automatically ban and will be insert directly to SQL.

As my somewhat unfortunate experience with Ragnarok server has been, you'd better not have mercy with people which use programs like bots, WPE or RPE as they'll claim their ban as an injustice after you've noticed them various times and finally got annoyed and banned them.

 

I'd only let them one notice by the protection system and if they continue trying to log in with modifications I'd make the system MAC BAN them (and any related accounts) forever. Else they'll try to continue cheating at all costs.

 

 

Good project and congratulations for your idea Leinadz, I'm hoping it to be released whenever you finish coding it. Sadly I'm not core developer, so I can only cheer you up in venturing on the making this great idea!

i suggest disconnect them only + a message will pop up that an illegal program is being use

Okay then, you surely have your vision here.

But then, how could you detect when an external application injects and hooks into your client exe?

 

Do you have a way to secure your packets?

Do you have some kind to counter a macro like the auto-pot?

Or are you just checking for some window title checks?

Sadly, but in my opinion, these kind of checks won't work at all.. 

Or are you trying to decrypt every client resource?

 

I don't know what kind of method you have in mind, but maybe it will work if there's some support in this matter.

Keep informing us for any news, don't let your project die like the others, okay?

I Think it better to put it in client hex. that it will only reads the required files. and ban or auto close when detects third party like rpe/wpe or bot etc.
