  1. I like it. It's a good setup for a PVP match. Introducing lighting would make it a lot better though =)
  2. Try ALT + TAB -> Switch from client to desktop and back to client and you will move fine again. This occurs a lot of several private servers I played on.
  3. Wow! Impressive work Olrox. =] If you need help with light-maps, let me know and I'll help you out with the project. Maybe I can help do some designs as well but I can't be sure at the moment.
  4. AFAIK, Actor2 is bugged when it comes calling sound files in a sprite sequence.
  5. Did you make sure you passed the data folder and other necessary files?

  11. I wish I could but I can't. The following rules are noted under spriterepository: If you want the map, you need to gain the proper membership status by getting involved and uploading some content.
  12. Take a look at the current custom maps in the download section and perhaps you can use something from there. Otherwise you can try out some model sites such as Turbosquid to find custom models. Preferably search for 3ds models as BrowEdit only converts 3ds to rsm. If you haven't worked with 3ds models before, I recommend you check out 3ds Max tutorials on youtube and my 3ds model importing / setup tutorials as well.

  18. Here's a map I decided to make yesterday. It's designed to house 4 people PvPing. Once I'm finished with it, I'll release it to you guys. RELEASED
  19. For a first map, great job.You've played with models, textures, global height edit, raising GATS, wall edit. and some shadow based lights. So its great you messed with most of the functions For improvements of your town: - Use sidewalk borders to blend in the stone walkways with the grass (Prontera has this) - Experiment with Interior color lights - Apply more details such as flowers and grass to the outside ground - Look into Water Levels and Detailed Height Edit (Sloping) I'm not sure if you used this (it looks like you did) but when you hold SHIFT while dragging a model, it snaps it to grid making it VERY easy to line up models perfectly towards GAT placements or just to build a wall / connect models without holes.

  22. Oh, you know what I did find. A lot of the models from another game made by Gravity are incompatible and do crash the map. Some do work just fine tho. So if your custom map utilizes these models, it can be a reason to why your map crashes. I just forget the name of the game.. Its available by Aerie (she posted the models & textures & maps)
  23. Before you added your map did you rename the original map files by just right-clicking the file and hitting "rename"?
