  1. .extra file is not needed when installing the map. It's purpose is directed towards other mappers who wish to make changes to the map whilst using the same lightmaps Feel free to ignore this file if you don't map with BrowEdit.
  2. Great job Jumong. The lighting setup you've defined is well done. Simple in design but packaged nicely together. =)
  3. Is there any confliction of 2 izlude maps being read from your server GRF and data.grf?
  4. Nice addition to Prontera. The edit fits nicely with the original town. Good job, I took 2 screenies for those who don't use BrowEdit. =]
  5. Thank you Olrox and Michieru. My pleasure to share it. ^^

  9. Very life like Olrox. Your Prontera map really brings the comfort of Christmas to players. I love the variety of new models you implemented such as the Santa figure in the center of Prontera and Cookie dudes. Your blending of lighting is also fantastic complimenting the textures, models, and theme very well. The use of the light rays beaming down the trees is an excellent idea and worked out nicely. As everyone says, your maps are always a delight to see as you go beyond the norm in producing maps. Great job and I look forward to seeing more of your work =]
  10. Your map is looking good. For future reference can you please take a picture of your map after you click "F2". This will remove all of the grid lines that distorts the map image. =)
  11. First time making a map? Pretty good job. Not a lot of people play with lights in the beginning so I commend you for your efforts for trying them out. Keep going at it and learn what you can! =)
  12. Yea. Use 586 or 587. Link: http://rathena.org/board/files/file/2514-browedit-revision-586-pre-configured/
  13. Take the original map files (That were NOT renamed) and open it with BrowEdit. Then go to File -> Save As -> Give it a new name (11 characters or less I believe). That will fix your issue. Make sure to repack your map in the map_cache.. etc. You can find BrowEdit 586 in the download section.
  14. Did you rename your custom map outside of BrowEdit? E.g) Right-click "Rename" file.
  15. Solved - based on request by Darristan.
  16. Aww Darristan! Don't give up! Experiment around with lights and you will become more comfortable with it. =(
  17. Your bitmap files are 32 bit in depth. You want to save your bitmaps as 256-color bmp, 8 bit depth.
  18. This is more of an off topic sort of question you have. The graphics support deals with client side work. I'll move your thread.
  19. Can you please list out what you did to add your custom item? Feel free to use pictures. The more details we know, the easier it will be to find your problem.
  20. You're right on that. I should change the title to [Free Release]. It will make things less ambiguous. Thanks for your feedback =] Thank you Vach!
  21. Great update Shinryo! I love the flexibility your putting in your client.
  22. Im thinking a blend between yellow and red.
