    2012 Topic

I am staying away from you.
  2. Were you using phpMyAdmin to import? I remember some old topics and bug reports where other users had similar issues (I think it's a phpMyAdmin bug). Officially, MySQL Server is supposed to support these 3 types of comments: # this is a comment until the end of the line -- this is also a comment until the end of the line /* this is a long comment that can extend over multiple lines */

OH I get it now!! Thanks =]
  5. If we disable replies, how would players post reviews? I guess then the question is: do we want to allow people to post review replies, or leave that to RMS? In my opinion, if we're allowing Server Advertisements we should allow review-type replies too. All or nothing.
  6. Oh it is! I didn't realize they use MediaWiki! Wow that's a lot of extensions http://www.wikia.com/Special:Version

hello and welcome! PS: I have always wondered what does :3 mean? Is it just another smiley face or something else?
  8. I thought Facebook "pages" were replacing "groups". Then I heard they were re-designing groups and adding new features? At the moment, I think a Page works well for representing eAthena on Facebook. PS: there is an eAthena Facebook group, started by Jguy. It might be the same one you linked to.

    Hi :)

Hi Teny, welcome! *adds you on MSN* I'll do my best to teach you about eAthena if you have any questions =]
  10. They are full of ads I like our MediaWiki installation which we have more control to customize. Also, this allows us to use IPBWiki so your forum login = your wiki login.
  11. A little too many zeros. 2000 = 20% (10000 = 100%) Edit: oops sorry, yes you are correct Hatake item_rate_card_boss: 200000 would be 200,000 x .01% = 20% I was thinking of the item_drop_card_min/max settings xD
  12. (Yes, of course the developers would need access to the server.) The original suggestion has been answered: yes we will have some sort of development test server. I am closing this topic now. When it is up and running, if we need additional help we will make an announcement. Thanks for the hosting offers. If we need any more help, we will keep them in mind and contact or make an announcement, or you can send a PM to one of the staff. Thanks!
  13. Thanks for the suggestions =] Yes, we are currently using the Wiki for all documentation and guides-related info because we feel this is the easiest way for everyone to collaboratively edit and update!
  14. Account Name is just a name to identify this connection in your list of accounts in Trillian nick name is your IRC name host name is the IRC server host (irc.deltaanime.net, but we'll probably be changing that soon) And as Z3R0 said, if you don't have a registered nick you still have to put something. Once you're connected, you can register your nick by typing: /ns register In Trillian, here's how to make it auto-join channel(s) on future startups: - on the Accounts page, next to your ____ via IRC account, click Settings - click the Miscellaneous tab, and put this in the Commands section: /join #athena you can also auto-login with your password: /ns id <password here>
  15. aww, I was asleep Yea your name will almost always be 1st because names are listed in "Last Click" order and at the moment each of us loads the page, we are usually the one to have last clicked something.

    eA Theme

Added the "IPB Unlimited" skin, thanks @Maki! To switch, click Change Theme in the bottom left corner. To change the color, use the paintbrush in the top right (below the search bar).

    Help..

There are some video guides to setting up FluxCP here: http://code.google.com/p/fluxcp/wiki/Screencasts If you use Abyss Web Server (like in their example), this page explains how to setup PHP: http://www.aprelium.com/abyssws/php.html
  18. Brian

    Help..

and pages are displaying like this instead of this ? What steps have you done so far to setup and configure your web server and PHP? Which web hosting company are you using, or is this your computer?
  19. Brian

    Help..

So you're trying to setup a web server on your computer? Did you install PHP?
  20. enablenpc "#test"; ^ This would only enable the npc named "#test". For example: prontera,155,188,0 script #test 910,{ dispbottom "Hello world"; } (it would not enable another npc named "something#test" ) Are you going to have multiple NPCs, and you want to enable/disable them all? Maybe put OnEnable and OnDisable labels in all of them: OnEnable: enablenpc strnpcinfo(3); end; OnDisable: disablenpc strnpcinfo(3); end; then use donpcevent "::OnEnable"; because that does trigger all npcs with the given label.
  21. hmm, looks like it might be a bug caused by r14929 ? flag 8 is set by the pc_dead() function when the player dies (and should respawn) on a PVP, GVG, or BG map. Try this: open /src/map/status.c find this line: if( sc && sc->data[sC_KAIZEL] ) change to: if( !(flag&8) && sc && sc->data[sC_KAIZEL] ) save and recompile.
  22. Which forum to use? This one, of course! PS: the old forums are down right now ...
