When I setup IPB six months ago (in May), I made most of the settings imitate the old forums as closely as possibly (the p.l.z. --> I AM AN IDIOT bad word filter included). I think a forum shoutbox looks messy and is a (small) waste of webserver resources. We do plan to setup an IRC channel, and people will be able to chat there using their own IRC client or using a web-based one.

Thanks Toshiro, I removed the line so tabs aren't converted to spaces. Should be updated in about 5 mins (because that's how long Varnish caches for).

The WYSIWYG and other AJAX/javascript not working was my fault (post=53142). The javascript stuff should work again now.
