  1. Not possible, due to the incompatibility of the rsm version of that plugin. It will always crash in browedit for now (so as in 2012 and 2013 clients) Soon in browedit 2.0 we'll have rsm animation supported for previous browedit and all clients. Thanks by borf!
  2. In browedit: Windows --> global lighting, edit Longitude Angle (gives angled shadow to the object), and Latitude Angle (gives light to the object) then adjust for 10 am light up to your desire. About shadows on the floor: move the light bulb that you are using as a sun to a position of the map that will give you that angle.
  3. Could be this: Another issue is that some clients makes some faces transparent when you have a lot of transparency levels in TGA textures, or, a lot of TGA textures present in the same object.
  4. Ragnarok client only renders one-side face of each polygon. Which means your object has the faces at the wrong side. You must flip them manually. Right click the object, select "convert to editable poly". The bad faces are usually represented as a opaque red color in max:
  5. I'm back :x

  7. File Name: Main Central File Submitter: Olrox File Submitted: 28 Feb 2014 File Category: Maps & 3D Resources Video: Content Author: Olrox Join me at facebook: https://www.facebook.com/OlroxMaps This main central map is good as a start map or an event map. This sky map has the idea to bring the most common functions of a main area to one place. Features: Area for mining systems at north with poring themed models with working helms. Billboards to place top players, events or news. You can customize these textures inside the pack up to your needs. Area to add quest area, mall area at the sides Area for War of Emperium Flags. 8. File Name: Colosseum - PvP/GvG or Event Arena File Submitter: Olrox File Submitted: 28 Feb 2014 File Category: Maps & 3D Resources Video: Content Author: Olrox Join my facebook site at: https://www.facebook.com/OlroxMaps The whole main idea was to create a circular colosseum although the ambience style was intended to be a little different than this. I was inspired by the movie -gladiator- where there is a clandestine colosseum outside of Rome where slaves are forced to fight. Features: Rigging and animation in Palm Trees and Flags: This animation is based in bones/articulations and its working thanks by the GR2 project of animated mobs in 3D. They are loaded as none-clickeable NPC in game. Please watch the video to get what I mean! The circular core of the colosseum, the stairs, were made and texturized in 3D from scratch. Atm I'm focussing into the way Ragnarok has it textures which for me they tend to have a grainy surface and shadows on some edges. Thats what I did aswell Effects like sand, and a dense fog that you can see if you move the camera at a high zoom, gives the feeling I was looking for. Please I suggest you to watch the video. This map comes with animation that you can't see on screensshots Click here to download this file
  9. @Everyone Just to keep you informed, Borf has been having a little fun the past days with browedit 2.0 implementing some stuff to it (like shadows, camera ...) Perhaps we can expect some compiled versions of this progress soon.
  10. Thank you a lot Yep I know that message too, it happens sometimes but If I remember well, only with clients that miss the "ignore missing file errors" diff. I could be wrong tho. It would be nice to get rid of it in case I'm wrong.
  11. They are supposed to be animated (they should move at walking etc)
  12. None of the clients associate any kind of animation in custom mob indexes unless there is the appropiate diff present to make that happen. Which is not an official feature, is custom by this project. ^ I guess that this can fail if the client structure or something changes, as it usually happens with other kind of diffs. Moreover, there is also the possibility that the NEMO patcher not applying the diff correctly, so I'd not disregard this? Atm I'll not asume anything until I have 2013 setup running and test it . Curiosity already provided a manual patch to test this stuff btw
  13. /me is lost in all those edits XD how many maps are we talking about? :33 Regarding your issue on that screenshot, I'm really afraid to ignore what is the cause. It has been very few times I've encountered with issues to load some of my maps like you, but it has been by the GAT file, not by the GND, which to fix it I had only to create a new map with the same name of the original map and just copied the GAT file to the original. So on this case you can try the same, but you'll lost all your ground edition... I guess its better than loosing everything like the models too?
  14. Seems some people have reported that 2013 clients are not working with custom mob id with animation in granny on this thread. Even by using NEMO patcher. I've not confirmed this but I'll do it in few days. This really reminds me the early times of this project where we didn't have luck with making the client read the animation files in custom mob ids. Thankfully curiosity is still active around, maybe he'd like to give a try to this. I'll contact him today.
  15. I'll setup a 2013 client + server for confirming, I'd need some free time to do that. Btw, the guys who I think they can help on this are: @curiosity,@Lemongrass,@Ai4rei, who they helped on this project with the hex mods for allowing custom mob ids in granny animation. I'd prefer to refer for further progress or test about 2013 clients in the proper topic of the Granny project here: http://rathena.org/board/topic/68884-done-animated-3d-monsters-in-ro/?p=244822 not this release. See you there
  16. Recolor the models manually would make the trick. I know it might be boring, however, you can have good results by editing the global light+shadow of the map with very low values.
  17. Aw, bummer. Is Brow 2 still being worked on? I'd totally upgrade just for that one feature. In the early times (first trimester 2013 year) it was really on going, there was even a team testing it, however, months later Borf stopped it due to personal reasons. He totally has great ideas for it, and I'm sure he will make them one day, but its hard to tell when. Btw It was just days before that I talked to him regarding it, and seems he was a little interested again, so maybe we'll have some luck soon.
  18. Just in case you want to try: 1 - do a backup of your map. 2 - In browedit, use the clean tool: remove all models and save your map. 3 - try to generate the error again, if it happens, it is cause of the models. Then, I can confirm maybe this: One difference among revisions 620 and 558 is that, revision 620 always crashes if you have models at the north edge area outside of the map, while revision 558 doesn't. So maybe this is the reason?
  19. In the new browedit 2.0 Borf was going to add new lightmaps tools. Perhaps something like this. But as Keyworld said, atm, there is no tool yet for making awesome lightmaps as Gravity does with oficial maps.
  20. You can always increase the view range of your emu, by editing: conf/battle/client.conf and look for "area_size:" Moreover, if you still want to edit the cell, just open it in browedit and, in gat edit mode, raise the gat cell elevation for that.
  21. I know one guy who has used a 2013 client with custom Granny one day before and it worked just right for him. Maybe if you can provide what exact client you are using I could test by myself.
