  1. I'd suggest to upload bigger images
  2. I don't know if he is or not, but I believe that is not correct to show personal data of someone in a public forum.
  3. I don't think decreasing the water will make a significant difference. It's already pretty shallow as it is: 586 never used to do this- I haven't changed anything, but the problem seems to persist even on old maps I've made and Gravity's maps. I've been using 586 now for a few years, since 620 ran like shit on my machine the first time I tried it out. If nothing better comes up, I guess I'll try 620 out. All I can think about is that maybe an update at your Graphic Card changed the water rendering at your browedit. Did you update or wiped your PC? or maybe you changed the operative system of it? I remember, that in windows XP, browedit as also the KRO client, renders diferent due to the use of a different direct X version. Edit: I just noticed that you said you didn't make any changes to your PC. I've no idea then s:
  4. Maybe if you try a more recent revision like 620? Or perhaps, it would be better to just decrease the height of water a bit. Afterall, if you use max-out view in the client, you'll face the same issue inside the game.

    DMX to RSM

Just as everytime, convert the DMX format to a more universal format like OBJ that you can then import in browedit. If you are looking for tools to convert the DMX format then, you are looking in the wrong forum. You should be looking that in the Steam community.
  6. I like new ideas like this. I've never seen water like this in prontera
  7. Personally I never use the bug tracker. Although, imo, is better this way. I prefer an extension of the current GIT since most people involved in the code and scripts should be the people I'd prefer to report a bug there. The bug tracker was more like a support area before. That was wrong.
  8. Revision 279 added. (2014-08-28_browedit_20_rev-279.rar) Development highlights: Major Update: Mirror or Simmetry at object edit mode: allows to mirror complete maps at the RSW file. Useful for simmetry maps. Experimental for now. (press M to simmetry) Major Update: Bug reporting: Extension, once you have a crash, a crashlog can be send to borf by mail. Major Update: Height edit mode: Initial work at this mode. Left click to select an amount of tiles, right click and drag to add height or decrease it. Look for the radial menu (spacebar) to find the "height edit tools option" and disable the smoothness at heights. General bugs fixed and clean ups. 9. Borf is looking at your error but he has no idea, however now at least we could make that crash and can be debugged I think. Ahh, btw there is a new revision of browedit 2.0 today: Although I'd prefer to wait a little more progress before releasing a new packed revision. Also that would give borf sometime to wonder whats happening with you.
  10. Hi, can you please post your config? also, you are loading a custom map by a chance? Edit: Try by looking ["threadedrendering" : true,] and change it to ["threadedrendering" : false,] then save and load? @GMocean thanks!
  11. The images are way too small, please send the direct link at full size, it is okay without the *IMG* tags btw
  12. Revision 272 added. (2014-08-21_browedit_20_rev-272.rar) Development highlights: Major Update: GND, RSW, GAT, Saving (experimental) needs to confirm quadtree Major Update: Height or Ground edit mode under progress Major Update: debugging tool "rsw2json" helps to debug browedit more efficiently Major Update: Water rendering (check screenshots) Cool gradient in window background, makes it look like a 2014 design software imo Undo (ctrl+z) for texture edite mode and object edit mode for now. New movement arrow tools based in 3D enviroment for rotating, scaling, and moving. (look spoiler screenshots) Quadtree generator implemented and improved (experimental for now, use "Q" hotkey to test) Model properties window is working better now by fixing some small crashes Link: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/uy06b3ds5r80gcb/AAAUNcW0YltlirAdan00EZvPa All development credits to Borf. 13. Somebody knows btw if 2013 client has random crashes eventually? I've been testing it and by no reason it crash to me when I'm in prontera or something like that. Edit: And when I say randomly it is random. I mean, being afk in prontera by 10 min or 1 hour range, doing nothing, even not calling any mob, player, effect, or anything in data.grf... and boom, crash? happens like eventually 3~4 times a day.
  14. Halloween is near oh thats right xD time passes really fast...probably this time I'm remaking my old halloween map for sure. Btw nice thread

    WorldMap

Thats quite nice to know thanks for that tip
  16. I think his paid service should be marked as innactive at least. Then, we can try to contact him to try to solve his problems with his customers (we are not responsible of this, but we can help) and once then, he could be marked as active again. But for now, his paid service and probably his files should be removed, since there is also the problem that there is no more support of his files.
  17. Are you sure o_o seems they work for me. Does anybody has the same issue with the screens?
  18. Thanks for your feedback >P Thank you, those are comodo beach lights, #156 if I'm not mistaken! .And I hate youtube rendering xD made the video looks -desatured- and in low contrast as how it is in game.
  19. Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/OlroxMaps 1. Concept Hi I did some time to show some work I did I'm sure some people were wondering where I was? well, very busy xD but alive and healthy, which counts The sketch. The idea was to create a recreational area for parties, inspired as a pirate area in the past, but reworked as a recreational area for parties, this map is going to be used as an event of an end-season of Summer of this server. The map has multiple areas like: a place for drinks, a dance area, an open beach area, volcano hot springs, bar, break water area, etc. 2. Features New features on this map: I tried to focuss at small details. Thanks by a new way of working, I can invest more hours efficiently in a map from now. Effects were used to give the feeling of a party area. A huge volcano was created from scratch. Textures were made to simulate ash, and lights to make the crater. This volcano has some hotsprings were players can have fun Some crow nests are placed near the dance area, to allow Game Masters, to watch the entire fun at a high altitude. 3. Video *watch in HD 1080p* Please I suggest you to watch the video. This map comes with animation or effects that you can't see on SS. 4. Screenshots Comments are always apreciated. Thank you in advance
  20. Thats because all maps are like that xD but some people add mountains or something to avoid to add a flat edge at the borders The map is good, although I have to give a hint to everyone: always show in game SS, not browedit. Lights in browedit are nice but they are totally different than RO real light (mostly the global light)
  21. The version is not final yet, some models gives crash and they are under work already.
  22. Add textures to the material of the scene and drag it to the model?
  23. You are not allowed to promove paid files unless you have a former paid services active.
