  1. As the title implies itself this is an ATM system that you can use on your own server. You can use this by typing @atm. The script can do the following : • Register - Register your account on the atm system. - Initial account balance is 0. - Initial account number is your account id. • Deposit - Deposit zeny on atm system - Maximum deposit of 9,999,999z per transaction. - Restrict 0z deposit. - Restrict the user to deposit amount which is larger than the current holding zeny. • Withdraw - Withdraw zeny on atm system - Maximum withdraw of 9,999,999z per transaction. - Restrict 0z withdraw. - Restrict the user to withdraw amount which is larger than the balance of the account. - Restrict the user to withdraw which will probably result of holding 2,000,000,000z+. • Inquire Balance - Check if you are registered on the atm system. - Show your account number and account balance. How to install? • Just import the bank.sql on your database. • Just put the atm.txt on your server files. Suggestions and bug reports are welcome. Feel free to message me here in rAthena. atmsystem.zip [Mediafire] atmsytem.zip This work is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivs 3.0 Unported License.

  5. Thanks for your interest in this guide. The main purpose of all these lines is, to have an -advance level- resource for those guys that wish to go further with their map creations. This guide will cover a useful amount of guides that has never been out there before. Yes, this is a compilation of things I have learned so far until this day; there is more mapping than just learning browedit! Requirements You have already read Aeries Browedit tutorial ---> http://rathena.org/b...e-for-browedit/ You have completely learned Syouji Browedit Tutorial ---> http://rathena.org/b...utorial-videos/ You already have experience with mapping. More than just edit maps, I mean, building your own. You have experience doing -re texturizing- Ragnarok Models and you are able to make your browedit read them You are capable to use Image Editors. Photoshop, GIMP, ... whatever. Probably just the basics, like flipping images or cutting an image. Please... Don't ask for support if you have not fullfilled the previous points I'm listing here. Another point: This guide will not contain links to download copyright software. Here, I will only list the software you will need to follow the video tutorials I will add... it is up to you too obtain this software by purchasing it, or Google it. 6. Fimbulwinter Client http://blog.fimbulwinter.org/ Overview Yes, this is another client project as I'm not satisfied with the current ones. FimbulwinterClient is developed in C++ using a barebone engine called YA3DE that I developed for use on it, remembers a lot XNA. The project was being developed in C# but with the release of MSVC11 with almost full C++11 support I decided to port it to C++ to take advantage of the new features. I don't plan to target old compilers that doesn't support the new spec as the major compilers already support it. YA3DE YA3DE(Yet Another 3D Engine) is a 3d engine that I developed to use it in my client. It remembers a lot of XNA but is in C++ and uses only OpenGL 3. Roadmap Map rendering: Done, perhaps the normal calculation isn't good at the moment. Mode rendering: Same as above. GUI: In development. Actors rendering: To be done. Network: To be done. Source code and license The project is licensed under GNU GPLv3 and the source can be found on my github repository: https://github.com/g...al/fimbulclient Screenshots Playing with the new GUI system Prontera prt_maze with surface colors Castle Prontera indoors Niflheim Comodo About the GUI https://github.com/greenboxal/fimbulclient/wiki/GUI-Overview I'll use the Awesomium project to create the game GUI, it's a hacked source of Chrominium that can be rendered and used in any project. Yes, the GUI will be done using HTML5+CSS3, but we have a problem: I suck at web programming and I really need help to develop a pretty GUI. So, if anybody is willing to help you can contact me Just for clarification, the 3d rendering is not web based, just the GUI. The world rendering is done with OpenGL and YA3DE. I'm developing the project alone and it's really a painful but rewarding task and I would be really thankful if someone helped me on this project. Thanks for your time, The green hollow cube.

  7. Inds CeresCP Featuring KeyWorld's Theme. As you may know I'm the new head developer of the Ceres Control Panel, and I've been writing a completely new CP from the ground up. This thread is meant to introduce the project properly and to receive feedback and suggestions, make yourself comfortable to post all your thoughts. Inds CeresCP : Features Some of the highlights Accounts One account can create subaccounts and manage all of them with a single login. Optional "Create Forum Account" checkbox on registration page, works for most popular forum software (ipb/vb/smf/phpbb/others) [*]Administration Features All CP settings (except db connection ones) and features can be managed from the webpage, no ftp/file editing required, this includes theme settings and languages (you can edit languages and add new language sets directly from the admin pages). New themes and modifications can be installed from the webpage as well by uploading their zip/rar file (no ftp required), the cp will process and install them accordingly. [*]System Features The whole control panel backend was written with a single thing in mind "performance". It uses as little queries as it can use and caches all it can in static files for the fastest available page load. It's faster than any control panel out there including the previous version of ceres and uses much less memory. All features of the previous version of ceres were redesigned and are also included.

  8. Hello, It's been a while! Within the past few days rAthena has gone through another round of changes and we just wanted to inform everyone on what is going on (as some of you may have noticed already). Community Participation Badges We have have been working on this for a while and decided it was time to implement our very own Awards system. It is a 'for fun' mod, similar to an achievement system, and meant to to encourage people to give back to the community. About the badges There are two kinds of badges: Normal and Unique. Normal community participation badges can be attained by everyone (shown below). Unique community participation badges are given to only a few people and typically unprecedented. Normal badges use a leveling system There are three levels: Lv 1, 2, and 3. Each level has its own unique art. E.g. "Bug Reporter" rank 1 has 10 confirmed bug reports, next rank has 20, next rank has 30 and so on. How do I obtain one There are currently two ways of gaining a badge: nominate someone (including yourself) or receive a nomination. E.g. user Bob wants the Bug Reporter badge, he has to send an application stating what award he's going for and proof that he has 10 confirmed bug reports. After it is approved, the badge will be added to his profile. The Badges Bug-related Awards: Wiki Badges: Scripting Awards: Souce Awards: Client side Awards: Mapping Awards: Spriting Awards: Paletting Awards: Arcenciel's Resignation Arcenciel decided to step down as Community Administrator as of March 2nd, 2013. He stated that he no longer has the time to perform his duties. On behalf of the staff, I'd like to thank you for everything you've done and have taken care of! Enjoy your apple. Development Archives Just a small note to inform everyone: We have recently begun to clean up our staff development forum; a bunch of topics were moved from our staff forums into the public archives (rAthena Development Archives). We would like to start becoming more transparent and allow more insight as to what goes on behind the curtains. Downloads rule change We have changed our policy on uploading sprite edits to rAthena Downloads. You can now upload any recolours or sprite edits of Gravity's sprites; meaning all those poring recolours we denied before will now be approved.

  9. Hello everyone! I'm sad, and a bit upset, because the things on the client side are worse than they should be. Yes, there is a recommended client post pinned into the main topic, but that is getting outdated, and if I try to find newer luas, datas, table files, I'm only gonna struggle in that with no result. Guys, please. The server is useless without a proper client. Who will play if the client has so many unfinished content, that even our first players got into them on their first day? The quest menu is a nightmare... Unicode garbage that was a korean text once, korean buttons in some places, unknown items in the quest guides and if I click on them the game crashes, and I could go on like for hours. This is not good. The whole client side should have a dev team as well just as the server side has with svn support, because fishing files from all over the web from over advertised, deadlink media share sites is just not the proper way! Please consider this: start an rAthena client project, with it's own support system and repository. This way it would be far easier to manage luas, datas, clients, everything together, in one place, and setting up a server with the newest client wouldn't be a week's job...

  10. Dear Brynner, First of all, I wasn't telling anyone what to do. I was merely proposing an idea of how to make server owners' life easier. Second, I wasn't judging anyone or anything. I'm using my free time to maintain a server for free, just many do with this project. I highly respect this. But this is not the question of the people, this is the question of the efficiency of the whole project. One of the main factors of efficiency, is the flow of information, and the organized work. Everyone would benefit if everything was much more easier to understand, and develop. Scattered forum posts are the most annoying things to search in if someone needs information on an issue. Also, If there isn't a main place where everyone can track the development of both the client and the server, then many redundant, and non compatible updates may appear. Avoiding this would make developers life easier as well, not only the "customers'". I bet neither the devs, nor the "customers" have the luxury of doing the same work twice or searching for hours just to make something work. There are many problems already, why is that bad if I ask for something that could make things easier? "Work smarter, not harder"
