You will need to convert the model to an obj, and then from obj to 3ds. There should be a converter available.

What do you mean triangle shape? ;o Textures are square type only.

Note: BrowEdit tutorials 20, 21, and 22 are now announced. Stay tuned for their releases soon.

Using an image editor, you can divide a 256x256 texture into 2 sides where 1 side is 128x128 and another is 128x128. Each side can be selected in the texture window to produce a pattern.

The tutorials are still active yes. I haven't done any updates on them though since I'm running by request based topics only. If you need support about specific things, send me a PM and I'll help you out.

1. Check your light maps. Follow the lighting tutorial. 2. Apply proper GATS to the map. Follow the gat tutorial.

I could see everything when I'm designing it including the lightmap. I did what you did on the video and everything looks perfect but then that happens.

1. Check your light maps. Follow the lighting tutorial. 2. Apply proper GATS to the map. Follow the gat tutorial.

Additional: If i rotate the screen in-game then suddenly it will appear but still can't walk and some parts are still aren't viewable.

I have some questions... the answer is probably no but anyway =P

1- there's how to animate textures in RO? like in 3D max you can save a bmp sequence and use as animated texture but do this work in browedit/RO?

2- in some maps like endless tower theres some moving pieces like a chain around some pillars, thats a textured model like windmill or the weapon shops i guess, so how do i export models w/ animation to be read in browedit?

3- there's how to animate lights? like make it flick or turn on/off w/ time?

1 & 2 - Seek out Olrox's tutorials or ask him about it (He's the expert in that sort of stuff)

3 - Can't animate lights. They are static and cannot change once set.

@Saisho

1- Ragnarok RSM animation only supports: mesh movement and rotation. Other kind of animations as in 3ds Max (bmp sequence, AVI, resizing, or that kind of things) are not supported. <--- However in one map I did, I added a sequence of some images. You can do this by applying different textures to different layers in 3ds max and moving them in front of each other very quick in a small distance... I know it is a rough way but, there is no another :D

2 - I did a tutorial how to export animation of custom rsm models, it is pinned in this forum

3 - it is not possible to animate lights sadly. At least not in the normal way

Hello, Syouji! i have small question, about my BrowEdit 586 for the Tutorials : Browedit Tutorial #21 - Cleaning Up Shadows Along Walls & Ground.

Image:

post-379-0-78506900-1369918422_thumb.png

Why is it that it is color white? seems it's hard to put texture when it does not show the Magenta texture when adding textures.

How can i fix this?

NOTE: i just rename the m_br_02 to Magenta.

Thank you! (:

Still know one knows how do i fix that? /hmm
