  1. Hi Charles. ;O

      Hey there! How are you?

  2. Ah alright, thanks! My map is in the testing phase now, singling out the little things I've missed and patching, re-patching,patching again!
  3. So how is school going? Finally done with it yet? :)

      Yep~ Nearly done ^_^

  4. No, this happened prior to the fixing of the issue. This is what CAUSED me to have to fix the issue, see what I mean? I did not put those sprites under the map, nor did I lower my lights or effects, or raise the map. I'm asking if that happens very often
  5. Yeah, turns out all my sprites and a bunch of effects/lights had been dropped below water level somehow , along with the bottom areas of some "ditches".. Is that a common occurrence when saving a map?
  6. Make the "Rejected xxxx" forums invisible to normal user groups, cleans a bit of clutter off of the forums index.
  7. Ah, I'm using r620. I'll grab that one. So it's caused by models under the floor, or something? (My water level was already -20.) Oh, lovely. I've been hunting through non-translated model packs, while there's been an english translation this whole time. Le-sigh. -Edit, maybe this was the issue? I have not the slightest idea how they got down there, but I did notice them missing from the field.
  8. The black textures are back. I was told that I could hex the .rsw file in order to repair it, or at least hide the textures, but I'm unsure of the process, and am also unaware of any better alternatives. You fixed it before fairly quickly so I assume it's simple, but don't want to go ruining my map files So, let me know I also wonder, what causes it? I added a few .gat slopes, a bunch of tables and stools, and a couple of simple effects and lights.. Want me to shoot you the map files? I'd like to know so I can avoid/repair it in the future.
  9. Indeed, unfortunately the costs usually cut deeply into the "enjoyment", especially if the server population reaches certain levels
  10. Now that you mention it, I do not see ANY lights in Hugel. Ask one of the creators of the threads I listed above, they will know far more than I do.
  11. You can delete this topic whenever you feel like, it's a waste of space xD
  12. I sent it, you can basically see what I am aiming for with the .gat already in place, the problem is that the non-sniping/nonwalkable .gat (purple) are in fact walkable. In addition, objects are not "walkable", and can be phased through. And yeah, I actually learned how to use B.E through your videos, albeit not through the rAthena boards, just via google. You're the number one video result when you look up "Browedit Tutorial". - Edit Thanks for the assistance man, I'll use what you showed me to finish it up, and post a Showcase when I'm done. Not sure if I'll feel comfortable showing off my horrible skills, though
  13. I've run into a bit of a snag. (By the way, your tutorials are awesome!) I've got my map fully prepped for gat and lighting, and in fact lighting is done, but there's an issue with the default .gat textures. I can place walkable .gat textures, but none of the others will apply. I can post a video of the issue if you like, but I'm at a standstill until I figure this out. In addition, Objects are not solid, and can be phased through. (Walk through chairs instead of onto them) Any ideas on what I should do? I assume it has to do with Gat height, but Browedit likes to crash if you look at it wrong, as you know.
