DrGruning Posted June 3, 2020 Posted June 3, 2020 Everything works except from @reloaditemdb, no error shown in the console, it just freeze and map server hung with no crash error... Quote
0 Kreustoo Posted June 3, 2020 Posted June 3, 2020 Hello, Yeah I had that one time, really annoying to fix as far as I know. If you have a test server, try to find the item making everything crash by removing major part of the item_db until you find in what range it is :/. That's how I've done it (and I don't remember what was the problem. Maybe someone else has a better solution Quote

I suggest use linux base run in VirtualBox ^_^ Quote
0 DrGruning Posted June 5, 2020 Author Posted June 5, 2020 mm this is pretty weird to be honest.. and i've tried replacing item_db with a fresh one... Quote

I already had this problem ... I didn't notice any problems with the emulator. From what I realized it was in relation to hosting. If you have a very large database (including import) and poor hosting the map-server tends to fail (crash). Especially with the online server. Try to put more memory and ssd in the VPS of your hosting. I believe that the problem will be avoided. Quote
0 DrGruning Posted June 5, 2020 Author Posted June 5, 2020 I'll try and see if it's limited to my import folders being way too big or something related to memory hungry scripts, but i'm on a dedicated server which makes it weird, since resources shouldn't be problem Quote
0 Emistry Posted June 6, 2020 Posted June 6, 2020 it take time to reload these database files, so its normal it stuck for few seconds. Quote
0 Ronald Posted June 9, 2020 Posted June 9, 2020 Make sure that saving is done before reloading anything. Quote
