  1. Phew... I thought the rAthena resources and community will be lost forever.. Thank goodness that it could come back, back from a long holiday.. When the site was down, I did some 'SVN Update' and I was surprised that there were still some actions behind the screen, and I knew rAthena will be back again! To all staff and also dev team, we as a whole rA community would like to thank you for your hard work and effort!

  3. Briefing & Concept Hello folks I'm back with a map I did quite a some time ago. I was not able to show it since the heavy amount of work I'm having ATM. I consider this a good map, worth enough to be in a showcase thread. About this map So, what do we have new on this map? Konoha is, a medium size map, which has some good extras I have tried so far. It has real Naruto Models I edited myself and, I have to say I poolished the textures to have a more RO style (bitmap shadows). This map has new features, (The part that most of people waits ) Although it is nothing really special, it is possible to use High Jump on the building's roofs... just as how it is in the real anime. Another thing I have to mention is the addition of the Hokages in the background of the map. I bet, Konoha city would not be Konoha without these awesome guys! Video! ... Watch it in 720p! The Sky is just a PS edition for a decorative screen I did Overview 2 Overview 3 Overview 4 Overview 5 Overview 6 Area View 1 One of the things I got back to take care of, are the small details. This screen shows an example of very small details as boxes, foods, etc. Area View 2 Using High jump on some houses. You can walk across the houses using this skill... Area View 3 This small area recreates the hotsprings. Area View 2 In game View of the Hokages That is all for now. Personally I like how this town became. I'm not sure if this is the first konoha out there. This project I'm working for is aiming to have other Villages from Naruto, It is kinda a big project and I hope I will have enough time to finish all the request from this guy.   5. Fimbulwinter Client http://blog.fimbulwinter.org/ Overview Yes, this is another client project as I'm not satisfied with the current ones. FimbulwinterClient is developed in C++ using a barebone engine called YA3DE that I developed for use on it, remembers a lot XNA. The project was being developed in C# but with the release of MSVC11 with almost full C++11 support I decided to port it to C++ to take advantage of the new features. I don't plan to target old compilers that doesn't support the new spec as the major compilers already support it. YA3DE YA3DE(Yet Another 3D Engine) is a 3d engine that I developed to use it in my client. It remembers a lot of XNA but is in C++ and uses only OpenGL 3. Roadmap Map rendering: Done, perhaps the normal calculation isn't good at the moment. Mode rendering: Same as above. GUI: In development. Actors rendering: To be done. Network: To be done. Yes, the GUI will be done using HTML5+CSS3, but we have a problem: I suck at web programming and I really need help to develop a pretty GUI. So, if anybody is willing to help you can contact me Just for clarification, the 3d rendering is not web based, just the GUI. The world rendering is done with OpenGL and YA3DE.   6. rAthena is now back online following a period of extended downtime from May 8th ~ May 28th. This was caused by the unexpected failures of both hard drives the servers were running on. We do realize that the situation could have been better handled, and the Development Team is internally discussing the possibility of finding someone to help with administrative duties. I ask that all posts regarding the downtime remain in this topic, and be constructive in nature. While we can't change what happened, we can take steps to ensure that this does not happen again. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused, and thank you all for your patience.

I like metropanel's theme, especially for left-side bar. but i think that would be nice if you add 1 more color, maybe yellow or something better, hmm.. and i slightly dislike about the main logo (server stats, online user, and login form) i dunno what's wrong about that, but it feels weird. sorry for my review, i'm not a designer like you so i can't give you a solution. 7/10 for metropanel's theme.

  16. that's a common bug issue on rA emulator. http://rathena.org/board/tracker/issue-7585-cash-shop-list-problem/ since the cash shop system was originated on hercules. the issue still not resolve here. since luck of support for cash shop features atm.
