  1. Okay, so those of you who have me added on Facebook have already seen the absurd amount of holiday crap I've been doing since winter break began from university. I've been busy making candle melts (did you know I made candles? It's kind of an addiction), baking, and decorating. I'm going to showcase just a few of my favorite pics I've posted to my tumblr account in this thread. Overview of my candle tart melts I've made: Hot Cocoa / Fudge & Peppermint Candy Cane (with powdered sugar and bits of candy cane): Sugar Cookie on top and Fudge/Hot Cocoa on the bottom. The ones with red also have peppermint in them.   8. Briefing and Concept Hey all! For this Christmas, myself and Olrox have decided to team up and commit our efforts in a mapping project. We want to drive a project that is unique, exciting and fresh for everyone to enjoy. The project consists of the following additions: Lutie Field Walkway Expansion (North) Lutie Field 2 (North of Lutie) Toy Factory Dungeon Level 3 (The Tower) Note: This project is still a Work in Progress. The pictures below do NOT reflect the final product of this project. About The Map 1.0 - Lutie Field Walkway Expansion Provide a texture and model edit North of Lutie to gain access to the 2nd field of Lutie Town. 2.0 - Lutie Field 2 (North of Lutie) For the first time ever, Lutie now has a 2nd field for all to enjoy. The purpose of this field is to serve as a replacement for the location and entrance to Toy Factory. Instead of entering the Factory from the locomotive in Lutie, you would now be able to walk into the building at the center of the map. The map can provide as a base for new monster locations and quests. The theme of Lutie is to be preserved and therefore the field follows a similar design of Lutie Field 1. New textures & custom models are used in this project and new ideas through this were made. Firstly, the Factory shows off it's take with the cold harsh winters. Therefore, you can see snow residues on the walls, and models of the factory. A frozen lake is available in the middle of the map for those who might want to skate! Several small homes are scattered around the map for server's to provide quests, etc. Overhead Screenshot Toy Factory Map Entrance/Exit North West Corner North East Corner South East Corner (Forest Pathway) South East Mountain Ridge Frozen Lake 3.0 - Toy Factory Dungeon Level 3 (The Tower) This new addition to the Toy Factory Dungeon will provide a unique perspective of the world around the factory itself. The tower provides a balcony players can walk around and be able to overlook both the factory and field below. The factory assembly line design theme will be conserved and used in this new dungeon level. The dungeon can be used to house a quest, custom boss or custom monsters. Preview not available.   9. My 2-teams battleground (5vs5) based idea: At the center of the map, will be a Fort, with an Emperium (fortified). The objective of the groups is to gain control of the Fort (destroying the Emperium) and remains with the Fort for 10 minutes. If the team remains with the Fort for 10 minutes, they win. It's complicated to gain control of the Fort, the Emperium will cause massive damage around it (5x5 cells, attack 300~1000, 1 attack per second, only on enemies). Each team has a Minor Fort, that create monsters to help. Created monsters has a view area of entire map and will attack the first enemy at sight (including the Emperium or enemy monsters). Staying near of your Minor Fort, it will recover 10% of HP and SP per second and if someone dies, they will be warped to their Minor Fort and can't move for (BaseLevel / 3) seconds. If someone go to the enemy's Minor Fort, they will receive massive damage (9999 per second). Map: bat_c01 (a copy) Example: Emperium: Vit 5, Int 80, Def 50, MDEF 70, massive damage around 5x5 cells with an attack of 300~1000, 1 attack per second, 600.000 HP, holy, angel, large. Spawned monsters: Zenorc sprite, Vit 1, Int 50, Str 50, Attack 200~500, 2 attacks per second, Bash, Heal ~1500 (heal allies, like Drosera), Meteor Assault, change target, holy, medium, angel, 5.800 HP.

Suggestion: Would it not be easier/more user-friendly to just have one dominant '@clear' command with additional/optional variables for more specific clearing of items?

  11. hello there, i've got a question, why is my ro client closes everytime i open the storage? i can't open it from @storage nor kafra.. no gravity error, currently no custom item. client: 2012-04-10 RagexeRE Lua files: 2012-04-10[translated]lub files+src fresh from the oven any answers are highly appreciated. thank you! Solved it! I have just noticed that this problem occurred when I used Ragray (the old one, you know.. :'( ) When I moved them to Miruku, everything works fine.

  18. Those "holes" in the walls are the doorways in order to connect to another room. You need to click "Generate" -> "Caculate lightmaps" after you placed your bulb. Follow my latest lightmap tutorial.

  22. New GM, Commands & Permissions system has been added in r15572. Unfortunately, this update is not backwards compatible with previous revisions and requires reconfiguration of existing rAthena installations. This new approach is designed for easy maintenance, increased flexibility and readability. Hopefully it will make up for migration difficulties. General description The whole concept of GMs and non-GMs as well as GM levels has been abondoned in favor of more role- and privilege-oriented player groups. Each account belongs to exactly one group. Player groups are independent of each other, so unless you decide to do so, they don't have to share any privileges like it was with top-down GM level hierarchy. There is, however, a way to say which group is higher, and which is lower: it's group level. Each group has following atributes: ID — unique number name level — it can be interpereted as (GM) level of all group members commands settings — what commands can group members use permissions settings — what other permissions group members have inherited groups — permissions and commands from which groups are inherited log commands — should commands issued by this group be logged or not Groups are configured in conf/groups.conf file. The file itself is fully documented and contains default configuration that should be adjusted to your needs. Details Column `login`.`gmlevel` has been renamed to `group_id`. It now stores ID of the group player belongs to, so you need update your database accordingly. Atcommand configuration file conf/atcommand_athena.conf no longer defines GM levels required to use the command. Permissions to use commands are now defined for each player group separately in group configuration file conf/groups.conf. Command aliases are still being defined in conf/atcommand_athena.conf. File syntax has changed. Import is no longer supported for this file. File is fully documented and contains default aliases that were present in previous revisions. GM configuration file conf/battle/gm.conf no longer defines GM levels required to get some privileges (like trading or partying). See full list of removed settings:These permissions are now defined for each player group separately in group configuration file conf/groups.conf. Player titles defined by conf/battle/gm.conf settings title_lvl1 to title_lvl8 and conf/msg_athena.conf (335~342) are replaced with group names. Removed @adjcmdlvl command. Replaced @adjgmlvl command with @adjgroup, which allows to temporarily (until relog) move player to another group. In login-server configuration file conf/login_athena.conf min_level_to_connect setting has been replaced with group_id_to_connect setting, which allows you to define account group id that is required to connect to server. In char-server configuration file conf/char_athena.conf gm_allow_level setting has been replaced with gm_allow_group setting, which allows you to define group id that is allowed to bypass the server limit of online users. In log configuration file conf/log_athena.conf log_gm setting has been replaced with log_commands setting, which allows you to decide whether commands should be logged or not. Even with command logging enabled, only commands issued by groups that have log_commands set to true will be logged. About group level Group level is used only: when determining if player can override trade restrictions defined in db/item_trade.txt when determining if player can use @command on another player (existing rule that low-level player can not use some commands, eg @kick on high-level player has been kept) or see another player with @who commands (if they have "hide_session" privilege). as a return value for getgmlevel() script command when determining if player can use commands in a map with nocommand mapflag set Other CMakeLists were not updated. Files Needed: Rathena SVN SQL Files(can be found at sql-files folder): logs.sql main.sql item_db.sql item_db2.sql mob_db.sql mob_db2.sql mob_skill_db.sql mob_skill_db2.sql [*]FluxCP @ http://code.google.c.../downloads/list [*]Webserver: can be WAMP or XAMPP, just google them, but i prefer WAMP if your using Windows OS Steps: Install your webserver(WAMP or XAMPP) After you install the webserver, open a browser and type: http://localhost and look for the phpmyadmin link if you cannot find it just type in your address bar: http://localhost/phpmyadmin In your phpmyadmin create a database of your desired name. After creating the database, import the tables list in the Rathena SVN SQL Files(above) After importing the tables, now locate your webserver folder and extract your fluxCP for XAMP: mostly it is installed in C: ex: C:xamp, you will extract fluxCP in this folder example: C:xamphtdocs for WAMP:mostly it is installed in C: ex: C:wamp, you will extract fluxCP in this folder example: C:wampwww [*]After you extract your fluxCP, go to your fluxCP folder and edit the following exampleFluxCP/config/application.php - for control panel basic settings 'ServerAddress' => 'localhost', // This value is the hostname:port under which Flux runs. After you edit the required files, now open your browser and type: http://localhost/myFluxCPFolder 8. This will ask you a password for the installation of the CP, the password can be found at your myfluxcpfolder/config/application.php in which the default password is secretpassword 9. After the installation, you have now fluxCP installed. Note: secretpassword is not your database password. Note: if you havent made any changes in your mysql root account such as password change. Probably your mysql username password can be: root and root or root and blankpassword(it means you will not enter anything in the password field)
