I think I've seen a CP like this with the facebook approach before on eAthena... The following may seem like a "hate" post but I am just stating my opinion on the flaws of a "social networking" CP : I agree with Realusion, if you plan on integrating a whole forum software (with its features) onto the CP, then sure, the news feed and messages would be awesome. Otherwise, the news feed would just be bothersome and adds something more to do for the staff team (in terms of potential spam, constant moderating, and maintenance). Additionally, this layout would make it hard to theme. Having the all/most of the RO servers have the same look/layout would be boring. For server owners, it would be hard to attract attention since the site couldn't stand out from the others. Not sure why a lot of people don't like Flux as it has a good base and functionality plus it has that theme feature. If you don't like the way something looks (like the item database), it is easy to change it.. its not like the implementation code isn't there. Anyways... I love the AJAX functionality and the online trade tab feature would be nice to have. If it is free and open source, then for sure, continue with it! There is no harm to having more CPs around.

This is likely because at that point you haven't created a database named 'rathena'. That is the login to MySQL. If this is, I'm assuming, your first time logging in there will not be a schema/database created. Run this in the query execution area after you've logged in: CREATE SCHEMA `rathena`; Side-note, on permissions, you won't need to set permissions if using root as your login. On the other hand, I highly suggest only using a root login for testing purposes (i.e. test server) and do not on a production server; it's not best practices.

Afaik that feature hasn't been added to Brow, but I somewhat believe some tests were done regarding that (don't take my words srsly, I may be wrong). Regarding the models thing, you can select the whole area to copy with F2 mode. Select it and press copy key ( C ), it will ask you what do you want to copy (only models, in your case). Then move to your other map and click on the area where you want to paste all your models. If you have any doubt regarding this, I could record a video .

Your data folder is not correct. You need to collect the files in order to make a GRF. Yes, the GRF is very important. It's what the server runs off of. Without the GRF, a player will not be able to function in your server correctly. They will error, and if they don't have your clientdata [Which is located inside of your grf] they won't be able to connect. You should use a program like GRF Sharper in order to make a GRF. In order to connect your client to your server, you will need a clientinfo.xml. You can google that or if you need me to, I will post it.

Hmm, did you make sure the chances to refine up to that safe refine rate are at 100% as well? (in refine_db.txt) Because you gotta change the refine rate to be at 100% up till the safe refine, as well as changing the minimum safe refine rate. The script nukes you in case something goes completely wrong, such as the player switching equips in middle of refining, but I think it nukes you as well if, for example, the safe refine rate is at +7 but your refine_db has only refines up to +4 at the 100% chance.

Mine, I'll be waiting for the new Ceres CP so I can code it since I dont know also what will be the new features of the control panel. Hope you like it,
