Scammer Alert: Pokye

It seems that Pokye is an admin on this platform as well—absolutely disgraceful.

He contacted us to purchase a game from Pcmedias, inquired about the details, and we provided all the necessary information.
We also sent him the terms and conditions, which he acknowledged and agreed to.

After finalizing the purchase and completing the PayPal payment, we delivered the game along with all necessary unlock codes and setup instructions.

However… he later demanded access to the source code from our game.
We reminded him that our terms clearly state that we do not provide source code, nor do we offer any refunds under any circumstances since this is a digital product.

Our service is about selling a ready-to-play, easy-install game—perfect for those who want to enjoy the game without hassle.
If he only wanted the source code, he should have purchased it separately.

We even provided evidence to clarify this, yet he remained silent and instead filed a PayPal dispute claiming the product was "not as described"—even though he had already received and played the game successfully.

This is textbook fraud—scamming people left and right.
Imagine buying something, using PayPal to pay, and then fraudulently requesting a refund.
If the seller doesn’t dispute the claim, Pokye gets both the product and his money back.
Even if the seller fights back, Pokye still keeps the product while attempting to scam his way into a refund.

I've also received additional reports from other people who have been scammed by Pokye before.

Several victims have already reported similar fraud from Pokye.

Adding to this topic as Im in that discord. And im pretty sure this will be brought up sometime.

TLDR: I was never a reseller yet im banned just for being there with no proof, Mundo Ragnarok is not a reseller discord, yes it has resellers like any other discord for that. but its at least honest with me.

What I can say is: You can't decide what communities a person takes part in or not. They can just use fake accounts if they wish. You can't stop people from reselling your stuff, just like you cant stop players from playing private servers if they wish.
While Im against reselling and some other stuff, and don't take part in it, I know its done, I just ignore it. Its not my problem. Specially since some sellers were actively hostile to me for no reason.

yes, there are, there are resellers on pretty much every RO discord. it all depends on if you care about it or not. I can assure you most rAthena staff has resellers on their friendlist. because I also have some.
I just don't buy stuff from them willingly. Not because im in some sort of moral highground, but because I like to make my own stuff.

Yet I was banned everywhere for that, just for being in that discord (unlike most people who use fake accounts). funny how it goes.

Why I am in that discord (and this is the most important thing)

Because I was banned and declared a reseller, even if I have never sold anything other than support hours in the past. Nor do I have plan. I make most of my own stuff, I have a patreon that my community helps fund my project.

I dont resell stuff, I was never proven to resell stuff, yet I was banned everywhere. There was also no chance for pardon (I talked to @Akkarin over DMs, I was not unbanned and had no chance to defend myself. only proof was me being in that discord).

I like most of the people there. If you guys think its "just a reseller" community, think again. there is a lot of support, banter, arguments and discussions about stuff. people come there all the time, and you know why?

Because the rAthena BR branch is rotten. Admins cheat, steal stuff, use fake player counters and a lot other stuff... its very difficult to work in Brazil and just do your thing. You will be banned if you call them out.

Mundo Ragnarok is a very neutral discord, everyone is welcome as long as you dont cause issues (from what I know)

Do you support the RO community?

I made my previous server free and open source. I provide support for anyone who asks me. I purchased things in the past directly from @Shakto (sadly I moved to hercules, so cant use them as there is no port, Id love to have hercules ports of some stuff.) but cant get the stuff back as he banned most IP ranges from Brazil, I also purchased work from @Moonyxel, @Katakuri and others multiple times in the past.

So I do support some people, but I will never- ever, push a commit to github, or provide a fix to anyone. Why would I if I was banned with no chance to appeal?

I'm also strongly against the -HUGE- wave of money that goes through some stuff, paying 400+ usd on crypto for clients, having pulls being deleted because they provide something for free that someone else sells (and person claims its stolen stuff), and other things. Im just overall against so much money being moved around for this stuff. It corrupts things.

My final takes on Mundo Ragnarok

I had plenty of fun times and cool people there. Had some small support, love to discuss about how they can make a better server and honestly never really got much support from guys in rAthena (and was hostilized sometimes too for calling out bullshit).

@iMillenium was always a chill dude, even if I disagreed with him or other people, they were at least always honest, and anyone who spends any amount of time knows I can say some HARSH TRUTHS when things get out of the line.

If you guys wanna go ahead and say everyone there is a dirty reseller cheater... well, then feel free to keep me and some others banned from everywhere. Your loss.

As a final note @Medivh, sharing Pokye's personal information is a low blow. Im 100% against that. Im all for arguing and discussing if you feel like you were harmed in a transaction, but personal data is a big no online.

I didn't need to come here to talk about this. But I might as well do it and take another ban if the staff deems necessary. Im tired of this shittalking from both sides.

Acredito que toda essa sua indgnação seria apenas algo pessoal que você tem contra o @iMillenium, revendedores sempre existiram no ragnarok online, se não quer que revendam seu produto, não venda ele a ninguém, faça o seu servidor e coloque ele para funcionar, ganhando dinheiro com o seu servidor e não com a venda de sistemas e scripts para terceiros.

Você esta brigando pela propriedade de algo que nem seu é. Tudo que envolve Ragnarok é da Gravity, se vc faz um sistema, um hexed, um script, é para rodar em um jogo que não é seu! O próprio rAthena nem deveria existir se fosse levar essa sua opinião em conta.

Se esta ofendido pelo que o @iMillenium ou o @Pokye ou outras pessoas lhe fizeram. vá no privado deles e resolva como adulto. Isso parece muito mais um ataque por frustrações pessoais do que realmente ter alguma relevância em relação a revendas.

Your responses are quite rude — a little courtesy and respect would go a long way in these discussions. You're not doing yourselves any favors; on the contrary, you're contributing to a negative image of your country and culture, which is unfortunate. Ultimately, this kind of behavior only undermines your own credibility.

Allow me to clarify a few misunderstandings that have come up in the previous exchanges (which, by the way, reflect a lack of respect for the international community by excluding others through language).

Let me remind everyone that any modification made outside of the official client does not belong to Gravity. The rAthena source code is licensed under the GPL, which explicitly allows code redistribution for commercial purposes — as long as the source code is made available to the client.

It's also important to remember that no one is forced to buy any of the products being sold. If someone isn’t interested or finds the price too high, they’re completely free to walk away. Or to develop it itself, or is there a skill issue ?
That said, I find it hard to believe that none of you are using cash shop items on your servers. Isn’t it a bit hypocritical to condemn others for monetizing their work, while you likely profit from similar practices? Surely, you wouldn’t tolerate item duplication by players either, would you?

Finally, is it really accurate to claim that the Brazilian community is solely responsible for keeping rAthena alive? I don’t think so. There are just as many active users in Asia, if not more. And if we look at the commit history on GitHub, unless I’m mistaken, we don’t see many Brazilian contributors actively maintaining or updating the project.
