Finding your PACKETVER? And some other questions...
Matrixfox replied to Loki's question in Installation Support
3CeAM has fallen behind in updates. You should use rAthena SVN. Your client packet number should go in "mmo.h". As for "clif.h" and "packet.db" shouldn't be edited unless you use a higher end client. -
Nice, I love et!!! Clean and simple.
-
Try this, right click on your client/setup and select "Run as administrator" P.S. *Wow scrolls some more*, "tons of problems". Looks like your data/lua pack is incomplete.

Please read the following!

Add the code yourself, or download a new one.

Matrixfox replied to XenaNyx's question in Client-side Support
Means your "msgstringtable.txt" is trash. Add the code yourself, or download a new one~ -
Help me figure out whats causing this warnings.....
Matrixfox replied to Phaige's question in General Support
Yeah, looks like misconfigured NPC. Try downloading a new SVN and don't add customs? Slowly add your stuff in to see what really caused it. ( Even looking at this picture, I have no clue what the developers did. ) -
fluxcp-renewal - Finally native rAthena Support
Matrixfox replied to CalciumKid's topic in Web Releases
Do I sense a update? How Rude~! -
Alien P.S. Uhh just anal would've worked, lol +1
-
Just download a new client and data pack *cough ck's release* http://rathena.org/board/topic/54190-release-basic-rathena-client/
-
Actually your login as 26, renewal I think. You have to add the other packets in manually, because they're not supported yet. This includes changing your rA conf files along with src.

2011-11-02 character_size info error / unknown packet
Matrixfox replied to Igniz's question in Client-side Support
Yeah, they are... I personally don't like LUB. I spent one afternoon going through all of them. Might not be supported for this version idk... I mean try changing your version to 28, also try a LUA pack. You can always learn how to convert LUA into LUB, super easy! P.S. Any personal reason why you perfer that client? -
Hey Need help about making my own server..
Matrixfox replied to daren's question in Installation Support
Hello Daren, long time no see. When you edit files in the subversion folder it will mark the changes. Turn on "Show Hidden Files" right mouse click on ".svn" folder then "Delete". Remeber, when you change "s1/p1" in "char_athena.conf" & "map_athena.conf" files, you also need to edit it in your MYSQL Ragnarok "Login" database. Your "inter_anthena.conf" should have your MYSQL User Name and not s1/p1. -
DOWNLOAD A DATA PACK THAT DOESN'T FAIL!!! http://rathena.org/board/topic/61086-fail-chii-ears/ P.S. This is client support not server :<

2011-11-02 character_size info error / unknown packet
Matrixfox replied to Igniz's question in Client-side Support
Sounds to me you have the wrong LUB/LUA files for your client. How's your clientinfo.xml file looking like? P.S. Did you complie after making changes to the source files? -
2011-11-16 ragexeRE skill level usage problem
Matrixfox replied to Quicksilver's question in Client-side Support
LUA data pack is bad. Try a better pack, or fix it~! http://rathena.org/b...ed-skill-level/ -
Missing that sprite file in your data pack. In other words, your data pack is fail. Try this data pack minus the LUA files http://rathena.org/board/topic/54190-release-basic-rathena-client/
-
Try right clicking on your "client.exe" and "Run as administrator". You can also edit those files by hand if you wish to do so. P.S. No need to bump, I will try my best to replay back~
-
Try changing your "clientinfo.xml <version>28</version>" to 26 and try logging in.
-
Try this Setup.exe http://svn6.assembla.com/svn/ClientSide/Diff_Project/HKCU_Setup/
-
Op, my bad. I mean how about your "clientinfo.xml"? Is your client enabled to read multi GRF? Also what error do you get? Yeah, seems like you have the incorrect packet ver. Are you sure your compiling after?
-
What does your "DATA.INI" look like? Make sure your "packet_db.txt" has "packet_db_ver: default". May I ask what kind of error message are you receiving?
-
Open your MYSQL, Then select your main Ragnarok database, Find "Login", Look for your account, Change "group_lvl" to "99" aka Admin level.
