Your forum and CP are already stored in different databases... o_O Unless you use SGCP which then your forum (that's built in) has the same database. But if you use Flux and iunno, IPB, you have 2 separate databases.

Hi everyone! Just another thing I've implemented towards our Script Repository. Before I start off, I would like to thank those who've already contributed to our Script Repository by posting snippets of source changes, algorithms, event npcs, etc.! I put in place just another preventive measure for guests. Instead of allowing guest users to view snippets and take whatever they want, they are no longer available to view snippets until their either login or create an account.

MC is slowly working on a marketplace. Our downloads section is no longer labeled as 'downloads' but as a Marketplace so that it ties in with RO a bit. Hence where people vending in RO is a marketplace: Welcome to Midgard's Marketplace! We know that the market is used for buying and selling items throughout the world of Ragnarok Online - which is why we have a Midgard Marketplace. A market is such an important piece of the Ragnarok Online world and nearly everyone uses it daily! For this market, players are able to Download, Purchase, and Sell items. We house many files from Maps, Headgears, Tools to Custom Sprites and even Scripts. Yes. We will be allowing people to purchase files... however, I've taken some precautionary measures to ensure limited possibilities of chargebacks along with many logs that will aid in cases of chargebacks. For instance, before being able to download a paid file, you will be put in a transaction grace period. Once the grace period has ended, you will be able to download the paid file. Keep in mind when you do, you will be logged. Your account will have a log of all purchasable files + other downloads that are free that you've download. Yes. It will LOG that you HAVE downloaded the file. Hence, you've gotten the file you paid for. Your transaction ID will also be logged so that it can be sent to PayPal showing that you have paid for the file and that you have downloaded the file. Anyways, those are 2 ways so far regarding any issues with chargebacks. I have also laid out some legal binding issues regarding download paid files that will be referred to when dealing with chargebacks.

I believe they're done through the client. The menu and its options is set through the client.

I've been working on a Script Repository as an addition to Midgard Community; alongside our downloads system. The concept of this Script Repository, for the most part, would run like a Pastebin.In the future, it will end up becoming a combination of pastebin and a wiki combined for holding publicly viewable (and editable) scripts. The combination goal would be to allow a group of people have access to modifying the script repository (along with the original authors). It necessarily doesn't "replace". Basically, if you are in a clan, you can't be in a guild. Think of it like a micromanaging version of a guild.

Lol... that's so fake. It's sad that someone would actually post that. There are many ways Gravity can contact you... and posting on your forum like that isn't one of them... especially using that format. Delete, ignore, move on. As others have mentioned, Gravity won't bother... If they wanted to do so, they could of done so back in the eA days, etc.

Clients we had back in the olden days were hexed ones. Clients used are RO-based and I don't think there is a way of changing that unless you pretty much create a client from the ground up. There are no other clients available. The best one so far for "mobile" would be what Curiosity is working on: https://rathena.org/board/topic/104827-wip-native-ragnarok-client/That's pretty much as close as you're going to get. Unless, once again, you create an APP from the ground up that has RO-like UI (i.e. Ragnarok Path of Heroes https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.us.ragnarok ) If Gravity wanted to, they would of taken down eAthena long ago. But I don't ever remembering them talking to RO Emulators.

Ohhhhhh the hallucination effect. Mind you, you will only be able to see this effect if you didn't remove it from the client VIA diffing. But, it is a status effect titled: "SC_HALLUCINATION". This also needs to be set to yes. // When affected with the "Hallucination" status effect, send the effect to client? Hey everyone! By now you know, or at least should know :S, that I own and run Midgard Community. Basically Midgard Community is another place where server owners can take advantage of advertising their server for free. However, our main focus isn't being just a "review" site. The main goal for Midgard Community is to bring up the old RUNE and TSR feelings. I want Midgard Community to house as many customs, graphics, tools, etc. like the way RUNE use to be and what TSR tried to be, but didn't make it. Yes, Midgard Community offers reviews for server owners, but it's not the main focus for MC, just an associated perk. I'm looking for help from members of the community that can help me grow MC to be like RUNE.
