  1. im having the same issue when i spawn the mob a poring comes out w/ the same table attributes of the supposed summoned monster.

  3. can someone explain me why my custom weapons have a really low aspd? they shows normally and dont even have scripts but lets say, a spear when equipped drop aspd from 160 to 74 while other spears drop to 140. just noticed that my custom bow drop aspd from 140 to 0 and dont require ammo to fire Edit: the weapons are now new, just old weapons edited. that makes no sense the mace cant be used w/ adrenaline rush... a bow reduce rogue aspd to near 0 but if stalker it increase to 190
  4. sry maybe i havent explained well... the sound dont have problems at all the thing is when i use @sound and i type something like "qwerty" i get a popup msg of missing file. As i said thats just a test and i understand that theres no such file but i was expecting a "file not found" in the chatbox not an actual client crash and thats what im trying to fix.
  5. openstorage; should work it works thx desactivate sound (bgm and other) avoid crash - but doesn't solve the problem im making some experiences and in this one i actually need the sound so i really so i really need a solution :<. Is there a way to make a script that play a sequence of sound effects? like pick a random sound, detect the end of it and play another one?
  6. oh hi, thx for the reply :3 im not sure if thats what in looking for... well it may work if add to a script, specially in a npc but do the server have specific settings to do it? something like a kind of item_notrade to define what animation will be shown in each item from the list? too bad that was more useful than petraname. for some reason it dont... i aways get the msg "storage fail" im still learning how to make scripts so yeah... noob at work here lol scripting evolved a lot since i last tried. another thing is theres how to avoid crash when @sound fail find files? im using 2012/04/10.exe but even w/ ignore errors the client always crash =P

  12. the guild buttons can be found in the kRO grfs data/texture/À¯ÀúÀÎÅÍÆäÀ̽º/guild_helper just replace or edit the images the inventory can be edited at msgstringtable btw where do i translate the chatbox tabs again?

  15. a long time ago, b4 gravity implement it i had the idea of make costumes for the chars but i gave up since the only way i found to do it was remake all characters sprites, specially the bulky ones like paladin, to make easier to the chars fit in the costumes w/o looks too weird. another problem at the time was the limited view IDs (not a real problem now) and the fact that only headgears had visible sprites in game. one thing that some ppl do is create disguise items to hide the actual job sprite w/ another one.

    i had a look around and the closest i found was the char manager v1-1 by llchrisll but still i dont see how to inject armor enchant on it since we have to choose the cards from a shop. maybe im just too tired to think or too dumb to understand...

  22. im kinda confused, can someone help me w/ this? how do i add a bonus to an item only once even if the char wear 2 of same item? taking as example Megingjard { if(Basejob==Job_Assassin||Basejob==Job_monk) { bonus bStr,15; bonus bMdef,7; } else { bonus bStr,25; bonus bMdef,7; }},{ },{ } so instead str 30/50 and mdef 14 the bonus remain the same wearing 2 of it. also how do i add a small bonus doing the same? 1 item gives 15 and 2 items give 20 instead 30. i tried some ways but none worked or worked poorly.
  23. Forgive me is this sounds off topic but as a "product" rathena wasnt suppose to supply the "consumers" needs? I know, im a user not a dev but i think that splitting may turn the things more complicated to the ones who use RE features mixed w/ Pre-RE in a try to balance things up. just a thought, idk if its valid but its just something that came up in mi mind...
  24. well customs are relative... if it does not affect the gameplay too much i dont really care have some w/ bonuses. some good type of custom w/ bonus that wont really affect that much are the ones that wont give over +3 in a stats or like in some other games, a cosmetic item that add like 1%max hp some servers have end game customs w/ great bonus and extra skills, what can sounds cool but w/o watch the point about pve/pvp balance that becomes a problem so i rather not have it.
  25. low rates <3 rates x1 to x7 i think its fair enough, drops not over x3, max lvl/jlvl 99/70 (99/50 non trans) no 3rd jobs (unless the server have fully renewal settings) no wings or big custom sprites (essential to prevent lag or cover npcs/players/mobs) customs w/ extra powers are ok since hard to get, restricted or mapflaged. (nobody wants an overpowered player in pvp/woe or taking away all mobs of a map) job quests are fun and should be used more often.
