Input with your keyboard your config name once you open browedit.exe and asks for it. Your graphic card must support OpenGL 2.0+~ to run this software. Whats new: Major Update: Mirror or Simmetry at object edit mode: allows to mirror complete maps at the RSW file. Useful for simmetry maps. Experimental for now. (press M to simmetry) Major Update: Bug reporting: Extension, once you have a crash, a crashlog can be send to borf by mail. Major Update: Height edit mode: Initial work at this mode. Left click to select an amount of tiles, right click and drag to add height or decrease it. Look for the radial menu (spacebar) to find the "height edit tools option" and disable the smoothness at heights. General bugs fixed and clean ups. Introduction: We all know how great and useful is browedit these days, that it has become the unique choice at Ragnarok Mapping. We will always be thankful to @Borf, who has created this tool years ago, and now, since the past year, he has been working with a new version of it. This project replaces the old one %5Blink%5D that was the previous and Old Java version of Browedit 2.0 *which is no longer used*. This thread will have regular updates about the project. Any kind of feedbacks and suggestions are always welcome. Video: (Video pretty says all of how browedit has improved greatly) Screenshots: Features already working: Faster and more efficient, even at complex camera distances. Real-Time Rendering of Changes Made Multi Core support (before, past browedits were only for 1 core) RSM Animation Texture Edit mode *partially* Texture window list (which is optimized and loads fast) Object Edit Mode *partially* (which now, replaces object group edit mode of past brows) Rotate, Position, Resizing and multi selection are supported. Sounds Effects Some TODO: Water rendering Add Undo Structure (probably Redo aswell) Config Window Start Working on More Edit Modes. Saving. Add Skybox (a fancy feature that will add sky to maps. Probably it can be linked to fogparametertable.txt) Possible New Features: New Lightmaps Proper Lightmap calculations across models 3D RSM Models editor inside Browedit probably with animation support (/me hopes) Multi-User Share Mapping (multiple mappers could work on a same map in real time) We have to be thankful with @Borf that has been working on this project for a long time.   2. Sage's Awesome Map Package 1.0 Sup homies! I won't bore you all with some unnecessary convoluted introduction, so we go: This is a package of some of my better work, mostly made over the course of the last year and a half or so. This is not everything I have ever mapped: The maps in this package are mostly just the ones I've finished that are functional and do not possess incredibad errors or problems. What you'll get: 7 Towns: Port Aquitaine, Carnivale, Dorado Harbor, Tortuga Bay, North & South New Alberta, and Zhunan. 2 Ancient ruins maps: The swampy city of Lafayette, or the bright and open Lumina. Several fields for Aquitaine, a satellite village for Dorado. Several interiors for Aquitaine, Dorado, Lumina and Zhunan. Dungeon maps for Lumina and Tortuga. A badass airship somewhere in there. It's crazy big. In total, there are over 20 maps here, of rather good quality. This map release is by no means perfect. I will be open and honest about this. Flaws you can expect: Not every town has interior maps, and those that do, do not always have many. I may or may not add more in the future. Not every town has field maps. I will definitely add more fields in the future. This package currently lacks a data file to organize warps/exits between maps. One will be added in future releases. Mini-maps will also be included in a future release. Sorry! Why this release is still awesome: It's completely free. I am not charging for this release, nor do I plan to charge for future releases. The only credit I ask for is that you link back to this forum thread and mention my name. Just 'Sage' is fine. You have my permission to modify and tinker with these maps to your heart's content. They're yours to do with as you please: That said, do still give credit for using them as a starting point. I will add to this in the future, as I've many half-finished projects and new things in the works, including fields, dungeons, interiors, and the like which will augment the maps currently available. Some of these maps use objects from the recently released town of Verus. I highly recommend you keep your kRO client up to date, or else some of these maps will have missing objects and textures. Additional notes, because I love making lists: Do not ask me to map for your server. I will say no. That said, if there is something in this map package you like and want more of (ie, "More Dorado fields, please!") then feel free to comment and I will consider working on it. If you find any functional errors on these maps (such as objects you can walk through because I messed up the GAT,) then don't hesitate to comment about it in this thread. Even if it is something you can easily fix yourself, this allows me to save others the trouble in future releases. I am not asking for money for this release, but if you really want to make a donation, then drop me a forum PM and we can talk from there.   3. @emistry thx for clearing his question @admaqua I don't know how to open the chain quest because it related client, or maybe you can send fake quest packet to open the next quest from server.

  4. Are you sure about this? If you changed the .h but you haven't recompile the server, then there's nothing to do with any problem. It could come from your other mofification.

  5. Eyce, I'm not sure which version you have installed either. MySQL Server, it said? make sure it's running (open the workbench, then connect to 127.0.0.1:3306 through the administration section)

  7. Do you guys know about OS-tan? I imagine if rAthena has one, maybe will be nice for rAthena's future artwork & fanart later. (Imagined if then there is custom NPC for rAthena ) Then later, "rAthena personification will be drawn after the idea and personification?" Yes, absolutely at least for myself since this is not official event/request yet. I'm not good at drawing & designing especially in character design, but at least I can try later, or maybe asking my friend's help to draw it. Of course, if there is people want to draw it, why not? I'm not requesting someone to draw it for myself, because I know, original artwork has high price and I don't have budget for it. Well, then how to start, please answer these basic questions and give the reason: If rAthena is a person, female or male? Why? If rAthena is a person, how old is rAthena? Why? If rAthena is a person, how tall is rAthena and measurements? Why? If rAthena is a person, what is rAthena's fullname? nickname? If rAthena is a person, what are characteristic rAthena has? Why? For characteristics, you can refer to rAthena's feature & main goal (etc?) to make rAthena has complete personification. etc?   8. You are stealing material from different mappers (Including one of my maps) and offering/reselling it at your "services". You are even offering Kamishi's pallettes as a pack of your "services". May I ask if do you at least offer something original from you? made by you? How you dare to have the decency to even ask money for your "services" knowing you didn't make anything? For your information, we have rules and I'm really sorry to tell you but now you have to deal with the consequences of a heavy bad reputation you have just made. Which means, no customers for you sir. Anyway, I can assure that the proper report/black listing of you and your service is gonna be set up. I hope this staff takes action, beginning by for instance, applying the rule of not allowing you to promove your service at your signature, which btw, you are breaking a rule since you would or should not be able to have an approved paid service here by using materials of other authors. Edit: And if I can add something, I have to agree with the posts above. It would be really a joke if you even dare to continue running a service after all of this.
