Miruku is a full replacement for the RagRay project. It is a simple installer aimed to provide users with a one click experience to install kRO Ragnarok & kRO Renewal. Hit download to visit the website and access the project. This should remain server administrator's preferred method of allowing "Full Client" installation. Simply link players to the project's webpage and have them install Miruku. Then have them install your patcher to the same folder Miruku was installed. Job done. You have a client up to date from the 15th Dec, 2011. Enjoy. Download: http://miruku.rathena.org2 points

Some of the same things others have already said. 1. Unbalanced custom items - Kind of self explanatory. I don't like seeing 10 players in Prontera with the same item because its uber powerfulz, other reasons too, but that seems to be the main one. Even on the official iRO, they have the Eden Group, and everyone wears the Eden Group hat because for them its "epic". For the people who used to have the Balloon Hat as their favorite, I wonder how they feel about the Eden Group hat, lol. 2. Crappy custom items - Sometimes. It depends on if the community excessively uses the badly made sprite(s) because its over powered. I would REALLY like it if people improved bad sprites, but some spriters don't allow editing, but the ones that need editing aren't usually from those kinds of spriters. Its usually the old ones like Angel Wings by Zarcon. I mean it IS a good sprite, but the quality isn't great (as if it came from a low quality JPEG) and they are excessively large to where players are often annoyed by them. They also need a drop and inventory sprite I think. I would like it if someone made it so when a player passes in front of them, the wings go behind the said player and doesn't block them. As for them getting in the way of other wings (for example, group screenshots), I think that is easily solved by players repositioning themselves. 3. Cash shop - Ugh, always hated the idea of making a profit off of someone elses' sprite, even if it IS Gravity's. Plus the community tends to be like obsessed with them, like "Oh I got this/can't wait to get this/have to save up for this". Gaming should not be about money, or who is the best -3- After all, I thought that was why private servers were created in the first place. If you REALLY want to see what a cash item community looks like, play Mabinogi and chat with the players who have a lot of cash items. It will amaze you. It did me. Its what made me stop playing, because one of the snobs in particular was just a complete, well, bleep. Tried to school me and basically said how dare I be friendly by giving friends items. Its a game, get a life. -3- You will never hold a virtual item, so stop being possessive over it. 4. Using no unimplemented gravity items - There are a TON of official hats that have not been implemented (usually because they were temporary cash shop items). PLEASE, USE THEM. I like my puppy hat too D: I like user created sprites too, but still, Gravity's idiotic greed should be utilized. 5. No pets/pets are hard to get - Won't name a server in particular, but most servers don't even make an effort to create custom taming items, and/or they make them possible to obtain. Either a strong monster drops them, or you have to go get 1000 of this item. Even if your drop rates are 1000 or whatever, the monster only drops ONE of the particular item, I guess its hard to realize that? 6. Go get 1000 of this, 1000 of that, and 1000 of this too, and this custom item is yours! - I have a life. Yeah, I know, its amazing. People have lives. Need I say more? 7. Bad economy - Though this isn't necessarily an Admin's fault. It could just be that the shop keepers are just plain, well, okay I'll be nice, out to get zeny. But the other reason is the reason above, impossible quests that really inflate prices. 8. Staff don't do their jobs - Not necessarily in regards to the server itself. When there is a group of players in a game causing mischief (and created their group for the sole purpose of "mischief", I kind of want to call it trolling but it wasn't exactly that, but it ticked people off enough to be trolling), and the GMs are aware of it and do nothing, yeah. They need to apply the ban hammer to themselves. 9. Allow other languages in game - Someone could be calling me (insert obscene word here) and I would have no clue. Someone could have a problem with me, perhaps over me accidentally kill stealing and not even knowing it, and I would have no clue on what was going on and neither would the Admin/GM. Hence, why it shouldn't be allowed unless there is a GM who is fluent in both English and the other language, and is active. I'm sure that is something that is hard to come by. 10. Unfriendly community - As Elven said, including staff. Ohhh, too many stories regarding that. Regarding one story in particular, I don't like admins who act like 12 year olds, do stupid things, and then ban players for their mistakes instead of being a man and admitting what they did was wrong. A friend of mine witnessed an Admin being inappropriate towards a female. Called him out, Admin cussed and tried to defend himself, then finally just banned the friend. Lol fail. But when I get bored leveling, doing quests, what have you, its the community that keeps me entertained. <3 Other than that, I don't mind if the Admin or GMs are serious business, but I like an administration group who can also joke around and have fun, which is quite rare since most Admins and GMs are not active with the community, and any comical statements are usually cherished, lol. But those are the things that really annoy me and seem too common. I could care less about a free site, GM/Admins that act like clowns (in fact I would actually find that refreshing, just as long as they know when to be serious), hamachi, etc. If they didn't do the stuff listed above, they would be the holy grail to me and hell, I'd be willing help them host the server and website themselves. But I will admit, I usually don't look at the .tk sites either because usually it means they aren't even making an effort to have an amazing server. / End Wall Of Text2 points

Oct 18, 2013 - Moved to http://hercules.ws/board/blog/13/entry-41-get-ready-get-hype-the-road-to-lua-with-hpm/ ------------------ Continued from the same thread on the eA site. This is a development branch that replaces the rAthena script engine with a Lua script engine. The commands have been written, the NPCs have not, and some functionality must be completed. This project is based off the old eAthena project found here: http://eathena-proje...l/DracoRPG/lua/ I just happened across this one day and decided I would make an attempt at finishing it, and props to everybody who worked on it.1 point

That does not affect the whole account, for whole account it would be: set #QWeight,1; for a permanent character variable, as your as asking for, it's correct like you're doing it. set QWeight,1; Maybe if you could explain to us, what is exactly what you want to do, I could figure it out and code it myself for yah~ ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- integers set QWeight,1; (perm. character var) set @QWeight,1; (temp. character var) set $QWeight,1; (perm. global var) set $@QWeight,1; (temp. global var) set .QWeight,1; (temp. npc var) set .@QWeight,1; (temp-scope. npc var) set #QWeight,1; (perm. account var) set ##QWeight,1; (perm-global. accounts var) Scope can be: global - global to all servers local - local to the server account - attached to the account of the character identified by RID character - attached to the character identified by RID npc - attached to the NPC scope - attached to the scope of the instance Extent can be: permanent - They still exist when the server resets. temporary - They cease to exist when the server resets. also Prefix: scope and extent nothing - A permanent variable attached to the character, the default variable type. They are stored with all the account data in "saveathena.txt" in TXT versions and in the SQL versions in the `global_reg_value` table using type 3. "@" - A temporary variable attached to the character. SVN versions before 2094 revision and RC5 version will also treat 'l' as a temporary variable prefix, so beware of having variable names starting with 'l' if you want full backward compatibility. "$" - A global permanent variable. They are stored in "savemapreg.txt" or database table `mapreg`, depending on server type. "$@" - A global temporary variable. This is important for scripts which are called with no RID attached, that is, not triggered by a specific character object. "." - A NPC variable. They exist in the NPC and disappear when the server restarts or the NPC is reloaded. Can be accessed from inside the NPC or by calling 'getvariableofnpc'. ".@" - A scope variable. They are unique to the instance and scope. Each instance has it's own scope that ends when the script ends. Calling a function with callsub/callfunc starts a new scope, returning from the function ends it. When a scope ends, it's variables are converted to values ('return .@var;' returns a value, not a reference). "#" - A permanent local account variable. They are stored with all the account data in "saveaccreg.txt" in TXT versions and in the SQL versions in the 'global_reg_value' table using type 2. "##" - A permanent global account variable stored by the login server. They are stored in "saveaccount.txt" and in the SQL versions in the 'global_reg_value' table, using type 1. The only difference you will note from normal # variables is when you have multiple char-servers connected to the same login server. The # variables are unique to each char-server, while the ## variables are shared by all these char-servers.1 point
