Frequent gravity handler errors when teleporting...

Question

Posted

Since I have switched over to the rAthena client I get frequent gravity handler errors. I would say about 1 in 50 teleports, flywing uses, @jump, and @warp ends up with the error. It's almost like I warped into a wall or something. When I bring the game back up I will be standing away from any wall usually in the middle of the open area. Its not restricted to any one map either. I have had it happen in dungeons, cities, fields, etc... The error has also been reported by multiple players and having an annoying gravity error when teleporting.

just guessing you have custom items while teleporting and might have you forgot to add them on client side files like:

num2idnumdesctable.txt

num2itemnametable.txt

num2itemresnametable.txt

not sure with the filenames coz I'm only using a mobile phone.

I am curious, wouldn't that cause errors/ gravities all the time and not only happens when you teleport?

it happens when you teleport I tested this before if you don't add them on the said txt files.. try equipping an item then teleport twice..

just add your custom items on the said client files, always whenever you add a new custom item.

Sorry, I havn't had time to check this out, but I did make sure that all my items were in the num2idnumdesctable.txt, num2itemnametable.txt, and num2itemresnametable.txt. I didn't put anything there before except for actual items that would have been unidientifed. I will post later with the results. Thanks.

I've had an issue with this before, and I think it was just a problem with my particular client. Try a different client date first, and see if you still have the problem. Also, I very vaguely remember the "Shared Palettes" hex having to do with it, but it's just an idea - I honestly can't remember if it worked or not.
