VIP System Cleanups As of d1a957e, rAthena had a few VIP configuration cleanups. List of changes: vip_exp_penalty_base_normal and vip_exp_penalty_job_normal have now been removed. Please use death_penalty_base and death_penalty_job from conf/battle/exp.conf in place of it. Battle config vip_exp_penalty_base and vip_exp_penalty_job are now defaulted at 100 instead of 1 to match other configs. Added VIP Zeny Penalty config. More stuff is planned to be adjusted and cleaned up in the future but this patch focuses on fixing some final core issues that were still in place! Thanks everyone!

I agree. It would be great to port over to a standard markdown. Linking across Github would be a great feature with it as well. It could also pose a great effort in the revitalization of the Github wiki so rAthena can drop it's end of the wiki and start focusing on just being a forum again.

What instance mode are you using? Can you paste the gdb dump so I can see where you are crashing? I tried all the modes and wasn't able to crash the server when the instance was destroyed.

Instance Mode Expansion As of 32c829d, rAthena now supports more instance modes! Suggested by the community instance now support three new modes: No player attached, single character attached, and guild attached! Notable changes: New instance modes: IM_NONE, IM_CHAR, IM_GUILD (with IM_PARTY as default)Restructured instance_create("<instance name>"{,<instance mode>{,<owner ID>}}); to accept the new modes while keeping backwards support! The instance_db now includes the timeout time to allow easy customization for each instance. The instance_db now reads EnterMap as Map1 to remove redundancy. Instance maps are now stored in a dynamic array to conserve memory. Now supports up to 255 maps! Instances are now destroyed if the owner cannot be found. Added script command instance_check_guild(<guild id>{,<amount>{,<min>{,<max>}}}); which works the same as instance_check_party. Adjusted script command instance_announce to check when instance ID is 0 rather than -1 since instance IDs are stored as unsigned now.

Moved to proper section. As for the suggestion, yes! I wasn't aware there were new bonuses. I guess we would have to come up with a solution as to how it will be implemented. Going off of this table: I would lean towards using the loyal_script block and just add in: if (getpetinfo(PETINFO_INTIMATE) > X) { give bonus; } But the loyal_script states So it may not work out well.

This isn't really a forum suggestion but rather a bug that could be submitted to the Github Issue tracker. I do have a VIP refactor which should resolve this issue though. I've gone ahead and merged this with the other VIP topic.

EQI Constant Refactor As of 2bf64c9, rAthena has normalized equipment constants. This should have been announced a bit earlier and since a few bug reports have come in recently we'd like to just give a quick announcement for it now! The purpose of this refactor was to match the database EQI constants with the ones in source. The source had it's own EQP constant structure created by Aegis. The two arrays caused issues with various things in source, so this commit clears that up! There is one thing to note. You are not being "disregarded" and I haven't shown any lack of respect to you. As Azura stated, the system you used to submit an issue is part of the Nexus system which I wasn't receiving notifications from, which is why no one had replied to your tickets. I know it took 2 days for your banner to be approved and I did adjust for that in the approval of your banner. I gave you those 2 days back as your banner is expected to expire on the 24th of May. As for your image not showing up and your URL being wrong, I did not touch anything with your advertisement. While approving I saw that your banner showed up in the preview and then processed the date adjustment and approval. I haven't adjusted any settings ever when customers create advertisements. I've gone ahead and manually uploaded your image to the rAthena server. I've also gone ahead and given you another week as well.

It is in the works and is pretty much done. Just testing it out some more and it will be pushed.

This was added before but the plugin has broken since some update. I'll try to play around with it sometime soon.

Just make sure the packet_ver and the key at the top of the packet_db are the same version, or you'll have problems.

It does ship, please read in the main post. :\ You have to click "Update Shipping Address" after you have entered your information and selected the shipping option. For some reason Nexus (for what I've found out) compares it this way rather than automatically. Once you click that button it will go through.

At least, here in the US, QR codes are underutilized. Many people in the US got discouraged about it after others tried malicious attacks with QR codes + URL shorteners. Either way, if everyone says here that they'd like to see it as well (Since we are targeting the entire world) then we can add it too!

Doram Support As of daa9e01, rAthena is now able to support the Doram race! A belated Christmas gift which I have put off for far too long. This weekend played out perfectly also for my culture, and hopefully others on rAthena. So as a gift from me to rAthena, Happy Nowruz! Thanks to @Rytech and @Nova for the information they mined from the official servers for it! Basic Information Requires client 2015-10-01 and higher. Only supported by rAthena in renewal mode. Not all of the skill information is complete and still requires some official values. Please report any bugs to Github! Official start point and start items have been added to the conf/char_athena.conf file. Keep in mind this does not include any related NPC, item, or monster related episode information for Doram!

Hello everyone! I would like to take a moment and announce the release of the exclusive rAthena T-Shirt! You might be thinking, what's with t-shirts all of the sudden? Let's take a small step back and let me fill everyone in: Everyone is aware now that paid downloads have been removed from the Downloads section. The idea behind it was to provide a stable and secure place for people to sell and buy custom RO content. As a whole, rAthena has barely broken even through the paid downloads system. Many people who bought products immediately requested a charge-back thus getting the product for free and setting rAthena in the negative. Since the removal, those who had paid downloads up have requested for Payouts through the Nexus system. Many Payouts were paid either through rAthena Donations, Maki’s personal funds, or Akkarin’s personal funds. There are still quite a few requests that need to be paid off. I understand everyone’s frustrated at this time with getting their money for their products. Fast forward. One of the first attempts to help get people their money back (aside from normal donations or advertisements) is the idea of selling an exclusive rAthena T-Shirt! The base price of the shirt is $15 USD. We are offering the option to allow custom text to be put on the back of the shirt for an extra $5 USD. Due to shipping costs, any shipping outside of the Untied States will also cost an extra $5 USD (Sorry, but don't blame us!). So you've read this far, what about the shirt? What does it look like? Front: Back: Overall: Size Chart: Shirt Details: The shirt color is called "Royal" which most appropriately matches rAthena!
