  5. visual studio is waaaayyy better than Cygwin, one missing library and you can be stuck for days in case of Cygwin, as far as installing visual studio you can visit official site and download the setup from there (2.68GB alert)
  6. i am using the official map currently i am facing this issue, any advice on how to resolve it? basically most of the regions of the map are unplottable, and i can say atleast 60% place where the mobs spawn are unreachable.
  7. umm mob_db? does you grf have the mobs? i dont know the structure of 3ceam but the mobs have to exist in this folder in your grf "data\sprite\¸ó½ºÅÍ" apart from that i would suggest using mob_db2 and mob_skill_db2 in case of rAthena the mobs are also added in lua files npcidentity and jobname
  8. i guess the reason y it throws that issue is because of unavailability of the hidden folder .svn, this is what i did 3 copies of rAthena one for updating and the second for my server, 3rd for patching right click on the patch file > select Tortoise SVN > Apply Patch select the rAthena you use for patching and click on select folder it will throw u the following just select "use the found path" Next you will get this window, click on patch all items and you are done, in case the .conf doesnt patch u can add it manually Hope this solves your problem EDIT: for patching purpose make sure you do not update this folder else it will simply replace all your patches with that of the update files, Edit2: doesnt matter where you keep the .patches file as long as you patch it on a working file, as for me i keep all the patches in patches folder within the source itself so as i dont have to search for it

Whenever i want to add a drop to a custom mob it directs me to item db2, then when i switch from settings and goto item_db and select what i want to add nothing happens //Custom MOB selection //Switching to item DB from setting //Final result of Mob_db2 also the export function is buggy if i edit any data in the secondary it simply replaces everything in itemdb and mobdb

  18. just to add to what euphy said, additionally you will also need to edit the cardprefix or card suffix based on your requirement, so as to show display name of the gear the card is compounded on, these files can be found in data.grf and are a neccessity, you dont have to create a new one..
  19. i added a custom weapon but the problem is i cant dual equip it and if i set in the DB equip_location as 34, it takes the item as a two handed sword EDIT: issue resolved was a sprite glitch
