Briefing & Concept Hello folks I'm back with a map I did quite a some time ago. I was not able to show it since the heavy amount of work I'm having ATM. I consider this a good map, worth enough to be in a showcase thread. About this map So, what do we have new on this map? Konoha is, a medium size map, which has some good extras I have tried so far. It has real Naruto Models I edited myself and, I have to say I poolished the textures to have a more RO style (bitmap shadows). This map has new features, (The part that most of people waits ) Although it is nothing really special, it is possible to use High Jump on the building's roofs... just as how it is in the real anime. Another thing I have to mention is the addition of the Hokages in the background of the map. I bet, Konoha city would not be Konoha without these awesome guys! Video! ... Watch it in 720p! The Sky is just a PS edition for a decorative screen I did Overview 2 Overview 3 Overview 4 Overview 5 Overview 6 Area View 1 One of the things I got back to take care of, are the small details. This screen shows an example of very small details as boxes, foods, etc. Area View 2 Using High jump on some houses. You can walk across the houses using this skill... Area View 3 This small area recreates the hotsprings. Area View 2 In game View of the Hokages That is all for now. Personally I like how this town became. I'm not sure if this is the first konoha out there. This project I'm working for is aiming to have other Villages from Naruto, It is kinda a big project and I hope I will have enough time to finish all the request from this guy. like this : conf/msg_conf/import/map_msg_<lang>_conf.txt so Spn and Chn need to be updated. Actually you can put your import anywere it doesn't really matter, but it's just a format choosen for the svn one. Now if spanish and chinese were to enable this import line pointing on the same file, both of their table would be almost identical, since we would have take value from the import file to replace the current.2 points

Greetings... Sorry for the long absence (kinda busy in RL ). Well, long short story: This is a updated Miruku client version, up to 2013-02-09. Aside that, i reduced the rdata.grf (compared it with data.grf, synchronized both GRFs and removed equal archives in rdata). The result is a very small rdata.grf (2,5mb; Kept the directory tree, for further updates). This Client uses the lastest rsu patchers and opensetup. Already used the client in my test server and no problems at all. Anyway, if you find something wrong, let me know. Well, I put a note saying I'd not making a rigorous translation but a translation spanish-speaking RO users would be familiar with, so in order to do that I spanglishized some things and decided not to translate things like 'Job', 'pet' or similars (but I've indeed translated 'Homunculus' and 'Egg' for example). This one is a relatively difficult translation anyways because of it. Remember mkbu95 (and other devs) you can always contact me for that if you want. Going in topic and seeing in /trunk/conf/msg_conf/map_msg_spn.conf I would say: What happened to all special characters? I don't know why are they marked with an "?" I'm updating that line to reflect "use conf/import/map_msg_spn_conf.txt" ? I'd rather translate message 451 to: // Return pet to egg message 451: No puedes devolver tu pet al huevo porque tu inventario está lleno. because of better general understanding on what's going on, even if it doesn't exactly stick to what the original message was. Sorry, but I'm trying to show to you in the tutorial How to Handle Patch Errors. You aren't supposed to take rathena 17271 e apply my patch on it, you need to take rathena 17170, apply the patch and then update and then apply my patch of section 6. Finally you should verify by errors on compile and read the section 5 to handle these errors. If I do the way you are saying I'll need to update the .patch file all the time and it's not nice.1 point

Oups, forgot to respond to that. Yes, that could be the issue, I'm still not able to reproduce it though =/. I'm glad you managed to get it working anyway! Also, big updates on the software. The act animations are now being fully rendered; this has been on the todo list for weeks (if not months). I've added a ton of other stuff you won't notice, but the program is really, really stable now. There should no more UI lag Any threaded operation can be cancelled Added a third layer on the GRF manipulation, to ensure your data will not get corrupted / bugged / lost Using a new engine for the image processing (should be faster to load data, it uses its own structure and the images will never be loaded unless they're being used) Upgraded these formats : act, spr, gnd, grf, rsm, rsw, pal and rgz. All windows now use a canvas (easier to modify / make new windows) Preview images can be saved as Indexed8 bmp images, useful to generate minimaps Changed the location of the files so that they use the temp folder instead of throwing everything in the application's folder (it was getting messy) The speed of extraction and packing shouldn't have changed at all even with the new features I've added the source code of the application for those interested (http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?7z6hkdag4ayj8rs). If you have questions feel free to ask, but the sub project GRFTester shows pretty much everything you would need to know in order to make your own GRF application. You need these dependencies for a new project : GRF.dll, ErrorManager.dll, Utilities.dll and Ionic.Zlib.dll. The library can read almost any file format and I believe that should be helpful for making applications! Everything's in C# so that should be easy to understand and customize. If you have an idea to improve the software or simply a new feature you'd like to see, go ahead and ask!1 point
