This release is per request from Ragno with the permission to release it publicly. Known issues Currently the file is not loaded from GRF, but from data\ folder only. Dastgir Posted April 27, 2014 Posted April 27, 2014 Does this mean, we can add new effects too? Quote
Ai4rei Posted April 27, 2014 Author Posted April 27, 2014 The database does not impose any limits in that regard, so the chances are high. The primary goal of the request was adding /mineffect versions of existing effects, though. Quote
anacondaq Posted April 27, 2014 Posted April 27, 2014 Sorry for the stupid question, because something i can't to understand. This "tool" can change any effect in game to noeffect, or another effect by hooks? Quote
Ai4rei Posted April 28, 2014 Author Posted April 28, 2014 I would not mark it as "tool", if the board had let me (but it did not). Yes, any effect that is displayed from a .str file can be changed. There are various effects that are hard-coded in the client source (such as heal) and as such are not affected by this. And yes, this is done with a hook. Quote
Ragno Posted April 29, 2014 Posted April 29, 2014 (edited) It is really impressive Ai4rei, you are simply amazing. With this new plugin we can update the /mineffect comand. I confirm you it correctly works in 2012-06-12aRagexe version. However it is not compatible with Harmony (it closes the exe) but it may be because a configuration related to harmony. Anybody can test the effectiveness of this awesome plugin. This is a modification of Lord of Vermilion skill effect to use it with /mineffect command. All you need is to put it in your texture/effect folder and follow the instructions of the plugin to make it work. http://www.mediafire.com/download/r0qouw9arra31tt/lord.str Thanks again Ai4rei! Ai4rei Posted May 10, 2014 Author Posted May 10, 2014 Release 1.0.3.1 Fixed an issue, that prevented effects from working on VC10 clients. Also marked as "in progress" as that seems more fitting. Quote

Conflicts Posted December 9, 2014 Posted December 9, 2014 I am using it, and it really opens a lot of possibilities. However, does anyone want to share their mineffect.str(s)? Quote
Zell Posted December 10, 2014 Posted December 10, 2014 (edited) So, I have some quests, with this I could add effect to mine custom skills, right? Toekei could make a str edit and creator for us Edited December 10, 2014 by Zell Quote
Conflicts Posted December 12, 2014 Posted December 12, 2014 I haven't explored to that part yet, but if I understand it correctly, yes. You can add new effects. On top of that, you can add both a Full Effect (/effect) and a Minimal Effect (/mineffect) version too, really nifty. Quote
