im noob at spriting im trying to recolor act files @_@

how do you do it?

runes of power has a sprite file but it contains no frames/bmp files

when i opened its act file it contains the sprite and animation

but i dont know how i can recolor them

is there anyone who can guide me through with this

im noob at using actor and actor2

been trying to search google for some guides but yet i failed :(

that's why it came down to this request

You can't view that sprite because the frames are in .tga format. However, you can open the sprite up with actor and then save the frames. Once you are done re-coloring, you will have to re-make the sprite using actor as well.

Open the file in actor2. Goto File > Save BMP. Provide the basename (the prefix that actor will use for the saved frames) and location. Click Save.

You will find the tga files there.

i dunno how to edit tga

i tried using photoshop when i put it back to an actor2

i just dunno how to do it >_<

god i suck

i hope someone can make a guide for it >.< a vid even doing recoloring once is enough to learn :D

ok i finally did this and edited the stuffs

when i replaced some frames in actor2 it became inverted vertically :( how to fix?

if i make my image inverted(flip canvas vertical in ps cs 6) before i replace the frame in actor 2 it will show the right position BUT its all black :(
