I'm not sure when tetra vortex went to start getting weird, but I believe any late 2010 client+ onwards have the black surrounding background when tetra vortex is cast. I know it worked previously? If someone knows why that would be great.
For the time being if people don't like this problem, and they go in the hex editor and remove all traces of "tv-1 up to tv-8"
That will move the beam effect, while still supporting the surrounding color effects.
