  1. D'aww, thanks CC! Yeah, I'd rather see my past creations live on than stagnate in a folder on my external hard drive. I do so hope others make good use of things I worked hard on in the past. I have other things to release as well (the event maps that go along with Eden, scripts out the wazzoo, etc). I hope Saki allows me to release her Chess sprites and the fairie NPCs she made for this region, but if not, I still have lots more stuff to dish out as freebies. >.<

    RO Sprite Studio (ROSS) - Palette Creation Tool Version 1.3.0.0 I'm not certain who made this tool, however, this was given to me a few years ago by a colleague of mine at ElysiumRO. I've used it ever since to create palettes for the RO game client; specifically, for my servers. The interface is easy to use, and it is by far the fastest, easiest way to make RO palettes. Please note, however, that you MUST have a pretty good understanding of how palettes work in RO in order to use this, as you will need to save the palettes to the appropriate folders, with the appropriate names (which CAN be generated in the program itself). This package does NOT include the RO class sprites, or my master palette file that I created for use with the program. It does however contain ROSS and all required files to run. jTynne

  13. +1 Glad someone already covered this. Item type 11 is as Angst has noted: It requires a target to be clicked (originally item type 11 was used for pet tames). Without a target, the item does not get consumed.Confirmed.

Your best bet would be to pull RE mechanics from brAthena's emulator at the moment as they're not completely finished here yet (someone correct me if I'm wrong, but it's to my understanding that brAthena has RE done for the most part?). At the rate things are progressing, your best bet would be to just help bug test with rA and contribute anything you may know regarding official behavior so that the core developers can get things in, fixed, and working per official standards. If you're not willing to or can't wait around for things to be added here, I do believe I saw a release of 3ceam with RE mechanics somewhere on eA, but I'm likely mistaken. If I find anything for certain, I'll post it here or shoot you a forum PM.

I only hope that both features are at the very least considered, and if nothing else, released by community members as optional downloads.

  20. v1: Add some sort of low synth or string (or even a base line with piano/synth) at the beginning. After the intro, pull back the volume on the harpsichord (or whatever the extremely bright instrument coming through is), and pull back a little bit on the percussion. All in all, nifty, but sounds a tad empty. v2: Not sure I'm feeling the slow strings at the beginning. I like the eb and flow feel of it, but it could be accomplished with more legato. The stocatto strings are a nice touch after the intro. I'm NOT feeling the really breathy/synth prior to the harpsichord. It adds depth once the harpsichord comes in, but before that, it just sounds extremely dry. Add a bit of warmth to the sound, perhaps? Between the two, I enjoy the second better as it has a more complete, full sound to it overall. Excellent work!

  22. I'm pretty fond of the Kraken and Dark Coelcanth Cards, personally. +100 DEF? Delicious. Dolomedes is pretty beautiful as well. Can't wait to tinker with them when they're released on iRO in the (distant) future.
