Plenty of people have had their say, and now it's time for K e o u g h and the moderators to sort it out themselves. I will began working on both of these today- outlining and clarifying details with you and should have something to show you by Saturday or Sunday (not a completed map). It is important to know that Sky maps have to replace existing Sky maps and therefore have to use a name with the same amount of characters, and of course, you will lose whatever map you replace. That in mind, what map would you like me to use? Only sky maps I can think of off the top of my head are the Pope's sky temple from the Arunafeltz quest line and the Valkyrie map where the player rebirths. If you are using a job changer and my Quest Skipping NPC, we can make both of those maps redundant. EDIT: Also, would you like it Rachel layout? Like the city's template and design? The building layout and pond in the same corner? Or just Rachel Textures/Models? Other than that, I have my own ideas for what to do with the given information. Thanks, ~Azura Skyy

Please Read Before Posting! NO EXCLUSIVES. (All of these maps will be public releases on rAthena) The idea is simple. I'd like to take a few suggestions/requests for free maps from the community. I'd like you to tell me what the map should look like, this includes: theme (prontera/rachel/einbroch/lighthalzen/morroc/payon)- these all have very unique styles. setting (early morning, night, noon? Is the climate warm or cold?) nature (are there a lot of trees? bushes? flowers? what kind of trees? are the trees dying or full bloom?) terrain (is this region mountainous? Is there any water nearby? How does this play into the theme/setting/nature) The more details you can provide, the more likely I am to take your request and the more likely I'll be able to create the map in your mind. I'm open to feedback and tweaks, but do understand that this is a free service and I am not required to fix endlessly until I have your satisfaction. Showcase of Previous Maps Things to Know I DO NOT WORK WITH CUSTOM MODELS OR TEXTURES NO EXCLUSIVES. (All of these maps will be public releases on rAthena) I will only be accepting a few requests- I'm thinking 3 or 4. Should I find your request to lack enough details for me to work with, I will decline the request. The maps I make will be made to order, but will be NO LARGER THAN 100x100 (200x200 in-game) Each map should be expected to take no less than a week. They may be done sooner, but don't count on that. Mapping is not an exact science and a lot changes over the course of creating it. If you want to be part of the process, I'd be open to taking feedback on your request throughout the creation process. (Screenshots and updates through Skype or rAthena Message system)

I don't want to white knight, and I've never had a personal conversation with him, but K e o u g h has posted heaps of maps. Is there any evidence of this or are these just claims? I haven't seen other posts like this, so what's the deal? Have any of the rAthena support staff contacted K e o u g h or investigated this beyond a single post? ~Azura Skyy -

Resurrection - Quest Map This map will serve as an area for players to Transcend into a custom job class (using the heart of Ymir below the center of the map). I might also use this map for smaller PvP Events. Screenshots are contained in the spoiler tag. Thanks to Chemical Crush for providing an in-game Screenshot and adjusting the lights several times. This map was inspired by the Resurrection scenes in the SNES JRPG Terranigma. Thanks in advance, ~Azura Skyy

Will add in-game screenshots when possible Olrox. I know all maps are boxes but what I meant is like some "island" maps have rounded edges or something It isn't an island though. The raised terrain on the outside edges should prevent players from seeing beyond what appears as water in BrowEdit. This was only ever even an issue because I had to copy the map due to an issue at one point, and because of how the copy function works, the map I transferred it to had to be bigger. ~Azura Skyy -

Thank you! Your question is difficult to answer. It seems I complete my maps in stages. The whole process probably took 8hours? Really hard to gauge and I think it might be demotivating to actually time myself and see the amount of time I could poor into something that might go unrecognized. Not every map is a winner. Some don't get a showcase, and some never get beyond BrowEdit. Stage 1: Texture/Terrain (2hours) Stage 2: Walls (1hour) Stage 3: Objects (3+ hours) Stage 4: Lights+Gats (2 hours) -
Ithavoll 'Splendour Plain' - Field of Deeds Ithavoll, regarded as the 'Meeting place of the Gods'in the first poem of the Poetic Edda. Being that Ragnarok is based on Norse Mythology, I've taken to a lot of the locations,themes, and events discussed in the poems. Ithavoll was supposedly a flat land home to great temples for the Gods. It is suggested that few Gods ever saw Ithavoll twice (having endured many casualties during the events of Ragnarok). I tend to not like non-Ragnarok themed things in Ragnarok but this seems to be quite the undertaking and has a lot of potential to be different. It looks like balancing will be an absolute nightmare, but I wish you the best of luck all the same. Thanks, ~Azura Skyy

For anyone experiencing a similar issue in the future, it has to do with creating a map with the 'new' function in the original BrowEdit. BrowEdit (prior to 2.0 at least) does not handle new maps well. Clear existing maps. Thanks, Chemical Crush. ~Azura Skyy

Quest Skipping NPC Latest Additions: Added an additional failsafe to prevent misuse of the NPC Edit Mode (GM only) allows GMs of a desired level to choose which features are enabled Added toggles for Xp Rewards, Item Requirements, Level Requirements, GM Requirement Added all New World Quest General clean up and ease of use. What is it? This NPC allows Players (or GM) characters to skip any main story-line quest including the New World. Features Currently offers an option for GM characters to complete a quest with or without a quest overview, covering main details of the quests Allows all quests in the Republic of Schwartzvald, Arunafeltz storylines, and all New World Quests Also allows users to skip the: Friendship, Bruspetti, Juperos, and Kiel Hyre quests Known Issues If you are missing any prerequisite to a quest, the NPC will only reply with 'You do not yet know Quest1, and Quest2.' This is a re-post for my brother who foolishly posted it in Source Requests. I fear that if we leave it only there it will never see an answer. We're looking to add a new element that will be used exclusively by monsters. I have read over the topic below and followed all instructions however when I attempt to add the value 90 or 91 to make it a level 4 elemental monster it does not change the element. I do not know what value to add as the monsters attribute value to use my custom element if not 30,50,70,90 or 31,51,71,91. Also, are their any files I need to add to the client side? Updated the script to a 2.0 release. New Features Fixed the issue with the Biolabs Entrance and Cursed Spirit quests. Added dialogue for detailed Kiel Hyre Quest completion. Completing a quest for the first time now greets the player with a message telling them they've completed it. Not meeting requirements now informs the player that they are missing one or more prerequisites (by name). Added a cutin of the NPC. Updated the script to a 2.1 release. New Features Small fix with prerequisites not being recognized, allowing the player to 'complete' the quest over and over. Thanks, ~AzuraSkyy

Several days of music and questing to work out the dialogue that would be necessary and it still needs a lot of work. On the bright side, this was my first script and it has taught me a lot that I can use to improve it and benefit me on future projects. Thanks for the comment, Euphy. ~Azura Skyy

Not a clue. I was hoping it was a generic issue that you may have experienced. While making the map, I group copy-pasted a lot of objects and quickly re-sized. I'm not sure how that could be an issue but it is the only thing different between the two maps besides the models- and as I said in my original post, all the models at the bottom are visible at other points in the map and don't cause a crash. I've recently added a few custom map., One of them works flawlessly, and one of them crashes towards the southern end of the map. It only crashes at the bottom of the map, and I am able to log back in and walk away from it. Turning the camera to it or zooming out crashes the client when near the bottom of the map. The issue is not with any of the models. All of the models are visible in other parts of the map with no issues. Image of the crash Thanks in advance for any help, ~Azura Skyy

This link contains a folder with several gat files for this chess map. Each of them is titled chess 3/7/10/15; the number following the map name indicates the height of the gat tile tower you requested. Simply re-name the gat file in the folder that best suits your interest to chess.gat and replace your old gat file with it. While you did request a 1x1 tower, I made it 2x2 to maintain the symmetry of the map. If you need it adjusted, please explain in detail what you'd like done differently and I'll fix it. ~Azura Skyy it did not work I have recreated a possible ending or image in this case, it should look something like this chess.jpg here is the reasons why I want to do something like this 1> if the players or 2 players playing chess is in the middle, they can see the entire view 2> both cant go out or walk away from the tower 3> easy to check since I will just do a check number of users on that specific location of the map. please help thanks Do you want it to be an actual visible structure or just a few tiles that levitate the player in the air? All I did was raised the gat tiles (invisible walk-able cells up a unit (3-15)). So you won't see anything unless you visit it in browedit or add it to a server or test it out on a server. When you walk over the center cells, your character should levitate a few cells higher. And as I said, I only edited the gat file; so you'd have to rename it from 'chess3' to 'chess.gat' and save it over your old gat file or make a copy of it and replace that copied one. If you don't rename and replace the gat file, it will be pulling the same gat file you uploaded in your original post. I hope this makes sense- if not, I could help you in team viewer?
