I had some problems extracting files that cause some file corruption, particularly when I extract a lot of files (texture, palette and sprite folders of data.grf). Would it be possible to add a function to search and find files that can not be read in the grf because they are damaged?

The Shell Integration was simply perfect, I loved it. Thanks a lot!!! About Tree behavior, could it be possible that it auto-select the expanded node? Actually it is still needed to clic in respective node to see the file list of that node/folder :S Edit: Well, here is another suggestion, would it be possible to do a grf file by just select a group of files in a Windows Folder by shell integration (right clic > GRF Editor > Add to "(Windows Folder Name).grf")? ^^;

It's simply amazing what GRF Editor can do, just love it. I just have a couple of suggestions to improve UI. Would it be possible to expand "data" folder as a default config? It is annoying to do double click to data root folder to open it and then introduce the files. The other suggestion is about give files and folders minimal icons. Right now the User Interface looks like notepad, only a txt UI, would be easier to check files and folders viewing representative icons. The last suggestion is about MS Windows integration. Would it be possible to make a context menu for right click in grf files with the options "extract here" or "extract here using grf name folder"? It would be just awesome if can do this.

Ai4rei, I'm using rsu.merge tool to help people with missing sprites, I found it very usefull and easy to use with batch files. However, if user merges the files more than once, it does the merge again repeating the same files but adding unneeded space to disk. Would it be possible to add a function to repack the target grf after the merge? It would help a lot. Thanks and Happy New Year! -
Mmm... just sort the ID in idnum2itemdisplaynametable.txt or idnum2itemresnametable.txt and make again the iteminfo.lub with ItemConverter. ItemConverter sort the ID for the items by the way is sorted in the other files, I guess it gives priority to displaynametable.

Could it be possible to implement an official rAthena test server for testing purposes? I know it is the code available to anyone, but it would be easier to test if there is an official test server without any modification.

Un subdominio de rAthena o un foro adicional son cosas que primero deberían aprobar los Administradores, igual y con el avance del mismo no tienen problemas en aprobarlo y dar su patrocinio al proyecto. Lo de dejar la invitación en otros foros era mas que nada para darle mas difusión al proyecto en los foros de rA, eso ayudaría incluso a darle más dinamismo a este foro que casi no tiene actividad. Incluso, podría dejarse una invitación a usar o considerar el proyecto en servidores privados de habla hispana que usen rAthena.

Una traducción oficial de rAthena al español ayudará mucho en el crecimiento de la comunidad hispanohablante de rAthena, creo que incluso podrías hacer la invitación en los foros de ratemyserver (que también lo leen spanish users) o Divine RO para que se unan al proyecto, o al menos para darle un poco de difusión. Hay alguna manera de comparar la primera revisión (en inglés) con la última que tuvo (en español)?, encuentro que todavía le falta algunos detalles que pulir y corregir en algunos otros casos, pero es más difícil darle seguimiento cuando no se tienen a la mano ambas versiones. Igualmente podrías pedir a los Adminstradores creen un foro especial dedicado al proyecto de traducción, dependiendo de cómo evolucione el proyecto, eso le daría más fuerza y oficialidad.

Why would you like to banish pre-renewal game mode? Peopleperson49 at least says to split pre-renewal from renewal mode to "optimise" rAthena's developers work (wich is not guaranteed under somebody gives the needed research information in bug tracker section). You are asking for complete removing and banish pre-renewal mode from rAthena, since "'r' from rAthena is for Renewal". In other words, you area saying "if you want to play pre-renewal mode search for other emulators". Removing pre-renewal from rAthena would split community and push out those players who likes pre-renewal content, players that also support it in all the ways. Also, would make those players to search for other options instead of rAthena, even instead of emulation, since there is an official and a very good option to play pre-renewal mode, Ragnarok Classic. I just see it: Player: "rAthena, I want to play pre-renewal mode, can you support me?" rAthena: "No, I don't support pre-renewal because 'r' in rAthena is for renewal" Player: "but, I want to play pre-renewal mooooode, please heeeelp mee" rAthena: "No, search for other options, go to official servers if you want to play Classic Experience" Ragnarok Classic server is a very good option to play, it is pre-renewal, it is free to play, it has the official way items and skills works, it has a good cash shop system, and also it is official... I like rAthena, and I'm starting to love it, because rAthena is making the unthinkable, merging renewal and pre-renewal content in the same emulator an also make it to coexist in harmony. I want to support that, i'm playing classic to give needed info in some bugs in pre-renewal skills. Why would you like to revert all that work and effort to finish a very suitable option to play? I don't think it is an enough reason just because "r" in rAthena is for renewal. This has been discussed in the past, i don't know why people hate pre-renewal mode

Gravity, through Warp Portal filial, has reverted back to non-renewal game. So, Ragnarok Online does have a non-renewal option for the game. They called it "Ragnarok Classic".

This have a friendly message about how to create guilds. Also needs a file named "guildtip.txt" in data folder to show some text. 2. New Quest Window. This is a new window that gets a some cool functions. 3~6. Quests Tab. There is a section to active quest, innactive quest, "episode quest"... and can't remember what for is the other 2 tabs. Some functions are controlled from lua files. 7. New Party Creation Button. It is disabled the creation of partys with espaces in name with /organize "party with spaces", it needs to use the party creation window to make those party names. 8. New Battleground Queue System. It is a "recruiting system" that allows players to register to battlegrounds in a queue system (in spanish: "cola de espera"). It is not working in rAthena because is missing the needed packets somebody tell me eAMOD has it working, but I don't know too much about it. (if someone can make it work, please share). 9. New Party Booking System. This Party Booking System allows to search for party members, register a party with some advertisement, and recall members in exchange for zeny. However, this party booking has never be implemented in main servers of kRO, only in sakray server, and it was downgraded in later releases. 10. Navigation System. This is a npc/map/monsters finder, allows you to search for npc/maps/monsters in the game, and gives you a route to follow to find it (like the little robots in Axiom ship from WALL-E movie), using airship routes, kafra teleport system and dungeon teleport scrolls. 11. Personal/Favorite Tab. This tab allows you to put favorite items to have it more quickly. A very interesting function. (the NO MSG right there is a function to prevent you of droping items Active/Deactive). 12. Map Window. It is integrated to navigation system, if you go to Prontera and other town maps, you will see Tool Dealers, Kafras, Weapon Dealers and some other handy npc in mini map. Also, if you use World Map you will see the Kafra Teleport Routes in a very easy way to go, very cool *-*

De hecho, con esta actualización los main servers ya actualizaron el mapa, y si tu actualizas tu cliente también tendrás disponible ese mapa, reemplazando al anterior Morocc. Será cuestión de agregar el mapa anterior para evitar problemas, como en el caso de izlude y el de alberta, para los que jugamos servidores pre-renewal. @Ziu: Por favor, si pudieras spoilearnos el seguimiento de Satan Morocc, me gustaría saber cómo termina xD. Ziu, otra pregunta. Habrá cambios con los items propios del episodio de satan morocc? cómo se conseguirán ahora? o ya no serán accesibles? -
Me equivoqué en mi último comentario. La información de la pestaña "Act" la toma también de los lua, no solo del questid2display.txt del grf. Sobre que la ID aparezca en el título de la quest, es intencional, solo para propósitos de testing, para ver in-game en el quest window la respectiva ID de la quest. Por cierto, la quest que estás visualizando en pantalla es la ID #1111: Creo que ya identifiqué otro posible problema. En el archivo rar que enviaste tienes los lubs incluidos en la carpeta "\luafiles514\quest" cuando deben ir en la carpeta "\luafiles514\lua files\quest". Adjunto te envío un rar con los archivos como corresponden, espero eso ayude en el problema. Por último, solo recuerda renombrar los archivos "lua" a "lub" para que no tengas problemas. Ahí ya están renombrados los que te envío. Update_lua_questinfo.rar

La información de la pestaña "Act" el cliente la toma del questid2display.txt del parche, mientras que la información de las pestañas Epi y Loc (para quest de episodio y locales) las toma de los archivos lub que referencías. Entonces, el error que muestras es una falta de traducción del primer archivo. Desafortunadamente no todas las quest del proyecto de traducciones están traducidas y le faltan por traducir algunas entradas, posiblemente una de ellas es la que muestras. Preparé un questid2display.txt que muestra el ID de la quest en el título de esta, para que puedas identificar de forma más sencilla cuál es la quest exacta que estás visualizando. Yo también estoy en trabajo de traducción para el servidor al que pertenezco y se lo molesto que es individualizar esas entradas. Si necesitas alguna otra ayuda no dudes en decirlo. Just throwing away pre-renewal does not optimises the developer's time. Time is relative, if has the fix, will be fixed. There is right now 140 issues that need more information of how to works. If you want to help them with their work, select one of those and go to official servers to do some research about the official mechanics needed to know, don't throw other's work and effort to the junk. I'm very impressed with rAthena's work with also pre-renewal server. I like it and I will help them in all what I can through bug tracker section.

I just watch a few navigation system strings, and other elses. I think it can be translated in this other way. (Just for the record, I use google and microsoft translators and also compare it with other official english clientes). msgstringtable observations.rar

But, i want it untranslaaaaaaaated, you knooooow... xD I didn't know it was actually translated, I just get a copy of that file some weeks ago (before it was translated). It is a great job, but i can see errors in a few strings. Do you know how to report it?

Of course, only watching npc working in-game on official servers can tell us how does works that npc. I talk about the name not visible in game, just notice it while whatching npc 15638 in navi_npc_krsak.lub: { "alde_alche", (map) 15638, (navigation npc id) 101, (???) 1193, (sprite id) " ", (npc name) "¾Ë¶÷°¡¸é¸Ç1", (npc name not visible ingame) 86, (x position) 184 (y position) }, That "¾Ë¶÷°¡¸é¸Ç1" string is corean 알람가면맨1 wich translates as "Alarm Mask Man1" wich also correspond to "alde_alche,86,184,0 script #Alarm Mask Man1 1193,{" in 2004_headgears.txt Well, it was just a coincidence i saw.
