I can register a new account (using the xxx_M naming format) and create characters without issues. However, after creating a character—or when I log in with an existing account and it tries to display the character select screen—the client crashes. Looking at the error, it seems like the client is trying to load palette\몸\검사_남_24929.pal from data.grf, but when I checked the palette folder, most of the palette files are named something like xxx_0 to xxx_4. So 24929 definitely looks like an invalid value. I traced the server code in char.c—the mmo_chars_fromsql function correctly reads the values from the MySQL database. But it might be that something goes wrong in mmo_char_tobuf, or maybe the client interprets the data differently after receiving it? I'm wondering if anyone else has run into a similar issue? Additional test I did: I manually renamed palette\몸\검사_남_4.pal to palette\몸\검사_남_24929.pal inside the data.grf. That stopped the crash, and the character select screen worked. But when I changed the hair_color value for the character in the database, the visual result on the character list screen wasn’t a hair color change—it actually changed the headgear model. Obviously, I only did this as a test to see whether the .pal file would actually be loaded and rendered correctly. This error is saying that your client is unable to find said files in the GRF. Are you sure that you have those files in your GRF? If you have a second GRF for those custom files, then make sure its name is inside DATA.ini so the client will read it.

MVPs in Renewal have Damage Reduction. 99% Damage Reduction if I remembered correctly.

Most probably your encoding or anything related to iteminfo for that custom item. recheck. make sure its exactly the same name as the sprite should be. If its equipments maybe can try https://x-files.amirazman.my/customfilegenerator/ or can also use that for others just need to modify some parts.

how about custom items, which item info files should be used? currently already update at iteminfo_C.lua but item image not appear. when use or click the item, it's show this pop up error anyone can share the files?

Finally someone to give an much needed update on these server tools. I know must of people are stuck with no budget or a small one but all these CP tools are the same since forever. I wanted to do something similar myself but unfortunately i don't have enough time free to dedicate to that and the amount of work is really big if you want to do like you and create something nice and from scratch. One idea that i had you can may consider is to have the ability to interact with game data in real time. So you can use your system to talk to someone or deliver items and so one. ( I didn't check the emulator code to see how this could be achieved) If one day you decide to open this for community contribution or something let us know.

Is anyone here experiencing low physical ( melee or ranged damage) on MVPs? Damage on regular mobs seem to be fine tho. EDIT: I've tested ranged and melee PHYSICAL DMG as well on Mini-MVPs as welll, and dmg formula seems to be fine here as well. There seems to be a problem with PHYSICAL combat damage not correctly working on MVPs.

Yes i have tried restarting the server and even recompiling it and doing reloadskilldb and it seems to show no errors at all. i am confused but i'll try restarting the server again since i've done this a few days ago so i'll do it again to be sure.
