I took this map as a free request, with the understanding that it would be a free release. RuheLuft is composed of 7 islands- a town square, residential, commerce, faction camp, park, spring, and temple, all combined by bridges and a floating path. Commerce Faction Camp Residential Pathway Town Square FAQ Adding a sky map- Adding a sky map is the same as adding any other map. The only difference is that you need to hex edit another map (which will be replaced and must be the same number of characters in length. To change the name, open the map in BrowEdit r586 and 'save as' desired name.) Hex Editor used in on adding sky maps. Without shadows it's looks not good... I attempted to lower the light to cast larger shadows and it isn't a noticeable enough difference to save it, re-upload and take screenshots again. This map was requested as early morning, so the sun light is directly East. Even if I lower the light from it's current height to say... 200 (which is really low), you won't really notice a lighting change until about halfway across the map because of how the light hits the models. thanks for sharing sir ^^ thanks for sharing sir ^^ Hope you can get some use out of it. Without shadows it's looks not good... you can't 'add more shadows' they just calculate however you have your sun positioned. The shadows are there and they are noticeable/correct for the position the sun is in. If you look at the other screen shots you see the shadows. Anyways, I like this map, esp the walkway its my fav. Always appreciate comments, but it's even more fun to recieve compliments from someone I admire in the community. Thanks for the compliment of combining models. There will always be more to share, as I am hosting a free mapping service. The mapping service isn't necessarily for server owner's looking for a map, anyone can request an idea for me to release for all of rAthena, so if you have a map in your head you'd like to see made for others, please consider posting in this thread.
