Do all of the 2013 clients read iteminfo.lua only? Or do they still read the idnum2itemdesctable, idnum2itemdisplaynametable, idnum2itemresnametable ..etc?

 

And which one of the 2013 clients is the most stable one?

 

Currently I am using 2012-04-10 and it is pretty stable. But I want to get 2013 to stay updated with the latest stuff. I see people reporting so much of bugs and no one seems to be satisfied :/

So please give me your advice. Thanks.

nope, its read .lub..

if u want use 2013 client. use the 2013-05-22 client. i think @shakto also recommended it. u can check in the 1st post.

My lua files are updated. I am using the lua files Shakto provided.

The error is coming from SaveData\OptionInfo.lua

And everytime I open the client this error would come and resets the SaveData\OptionInfo.lua

When I researched about this error, i found a few topics that said to uncheck "Read Data Folder First".

I tried that too. And I still get the error with SaveData\OptionInfo.lua

The program is searching for OptionInfo.lua or OptionInfo.lub in the Ro\System\LuaFiles514 so to solve this problem, copy the luas in Ro\System to the Ro\System\LuaFiles514 directory

i dont think it is right to edit re/item_db.txt just to show correct weapon sprite for client 2013, what question me is how exactly new iteminfo.lub files works. I wish i can decompile it myself and see whats behind it... my guess is there is function that convert weapon sprite.

 

i tested it myself. editing your itemInfo.lub classNum is enough... it works for me. thanks

just extract this file into your RO Folder And Rename Your OLD System Folder Into Sytem1

2013-06-12 - 2013-07-17 "Ignore Missing File Error" not working, I enable it and test it, I found it will crash the client if missing any files.

But 2013-03-20 - 2013-06-05 works fine.

haha this is funny, i cannot manually do that saince there are alot of weapons! RAWR, ill just wait for the fix that doesnt need to touch the item_db. But well thanks!
