Hackshield or Harmony ?

Hi all,

As title says, which offers the best protection when it comes to hacks/bots and the abilities to block any form of cheats (ROmedic and AHK, etc) ?

I think I've already seen a server with both protections, what do you guys think about that?

Pros & cons, please develop your answer.

Use Harmony. I helped beta test that beast during it's early stages Sirius_White has been a member of the RO Private Server community for years. I fully trust his product and highly recommend it. Use it.

Don't use two hackshields, that's overkill lol. And I don't know of anything that's broken through Harmony, so that seems like the best way to go.

Right, Harmony all the way...When at least when I'll get an answer from Sirius_White (sent 3 mails so far, no reply yet...I suppose he's very busy).

Well, you can use HackShield as a free alternative. They're basically the same in terms of security. Harmony is just somewhat more flexible because you can edit its settings (like bypassing security measures for selected accounts etc.) unlike HackShield.

Sirius is sometimes hard to get ahold of, just be patient though. I'm still running off Harmony 3.2 I believe. Has been a secure solution since version 1 though. Totally swear by it

Harmony isn't easy to bypass, unless you use incorrect settings. For instance if you set GRF Encryption to off, then players would be able to 0 sprite. Other than that, it'll tell the user who's hacking that there's a modification to the client and it'll also send it to the Harmony Control Panel with the account id and character name.

Overall I'd go with Harmony.

Still game guard? But a lot of people says that it can be easily bypass by NDL injectors. ._.
