  8. Thank you all for your submissions this contest is now over. Congratulations to KeyWorld and his design. The new ceres control panel will be out as soon as I finish rathenas *secret* irc project.
  9. If you write the file (with the combos in it) with your pattern and send me I'll write the code to read it.

    OnInit label

    If it could trigger the OnInit labels only in the script that was loaded. it is possible to run the oninit (or any npc event) solely on the npcs being loaded by the @loadnpc call.

  12. Monthly Digest #1 Hello and welcome, this is rAthena's first development digest. Below is a small report for the past 30 days. Development Team Rytech joined as Core Developer Z3R0 returned as Script / DB Developer GreenBox joined as Core Developer Castor joined as Core Developer Sirius_Black joined as Core Developer Malufett joined as Core Developer Development Highlights 3rd Classes were completed MvP Tomb System Script Engine Update New Development Branch: bs-coreoptimize Under Sirius_Black hawk eyes. The branch aims at developing several core features that'll be later added to trunk when completed, to name a few: Threading Support Script Engine Improvement Socket Rework [*]rAthena has reached it's 1000th commit in r16000, April 29th. [*]@command suggestion system [*]Many many and many performance improvements, for instance @reloadscript and shutdown processing are much faster. [*]@accinfo command was added Misc. Stats In the past 30 days there were 246 commits. Of these 246 commits 58 were bug-fixes. Note: If anyone feels this list is missing something please feel free to reply and we will add it! This is a good way to keep track of 'milestones' and such that some users have been looking for! Important bug fixes, features, optimizations, etc etc are just a few examples.
  13. i think that would solve the issue actually o-o that way we could process solely combos after all item processing was made -- then stacking combos would be made possible
  14. the tomb system is pretty old (what, 1 year and half?) if you don't have it in your client you're outdated imo.. in my opinion the setting is old enough to be enabled by default

    @accinfo

    since there were no objections I've gone ahead and added in r16025. As you may see there is a horrible horrible horrible way to retrieve class names in char server, need to think of a way around it :< any suggestions are more than welcome! On a side note, I've wrote a new version of the command for this commit, all processing is now handled by char server rather than map server (an suggestion gepard and epoque did months ago). perhaps rewrite the whole way jobs are handled? its currently messy tbh ids in mmo.h names handled by pc.c and stored in msg_athena.conf
  16. it's what i said earlier, "operation failed" means it failed to override the setting. you'll be fine.
  17. means your system have a custom limit and the server failed to override it, you should be able to run the server fine -- it will not allow more than 1024 online players at once however.
  18. a webpage leaking memory? wtf? are you able to tell if you get this only from rathena or other ipb forums too?
  19. Ind

    @accinfo

    This was brought in the past in http://rathena.org/b...-new-gm-system/ by arcenciel, the only concern brought up at that time was made by gepard, which I shall reply to now. So yes, I think we could add this if it's reworked. And we also need to sort out possible license issue with that GeoIP data. A DBMap isn't viable, there are millions of entries in that file and it uses it's own algorithm to go thru them quickly. The GeoIP file is provided free of charge by maxmind.com (its the free type) I'm joining that discussion this late because back then I didn't seem to think it'd be worth, I have changed my mind however and I'm now willing to discuss it. I do think it's a very handy feature and seeing by the amount of times it was downloaded I do think it will be worth having on the svn. The rodeo has started! let me know what you think. share your thoughts, love and cookies.
  20. if your server is 64bit its likely your existent mysql libs are 64bit, if they're then you have to run configure with --enable-64bit
  21. no, it's not recommended. it's a branch under heavy development. as its features are complete and functional they'll be added to trunk.
  22. Answer for your questions may be found here: http://sourceforge.net/apps/trac/rathena/changeset/15874
  23. replace MAP_BELAGIO for the actual map name within quotes, e.g. if you wanted it to be prtg_cast01 it should be "prtg_cas01"
  24. With r15885 rAthena has completed the development of 3.x classes, should you step by any bugs please do report: http://rathena.org/board/tracker/ so we may get it fixed right away. Thank you for your time.
