I find all this is very ridiculous. The fact of how people do not have the maturity to work together and want to harm the others, makes me very mad. I not see great need for such change. But the idea is good, I think we should archive it and work in future. We can do a modification of the script system in general, as the commands in script.c.

I agree with Gepard, this is how I always did. If don't there is some official information from kRO, just wait new updates in iRO. The only significant difference of kRO for iRO is the formula of ASPD and there are small differences as the formula for MATK, with a difference of 2 points, but this is not relevant. About skill updates, no need to be constantly updated. It is preferable to wait and get the informations in iRO, because kRO have constant changes and this would be a work for nothing.

Is need verify if the version of Apache is the latest to enabled HTTPS. There is a new type of apache attack, called 0day. Wich causes traffic congestion due to the encriyption keys are broken. Is better you use a proxy server, it is easier.

The main problem is not that, you used some of 3CeAM's code uncredited (see banding). The main problem is, you usually speak about 3CeAM with less respect than it deserves. Without 3CeAM, probably, brAthena would not be that updated/complete now. Maybe the opposite is also true, 3CeAM would not be at it's current level without brAthena. Of course brAthena has now more features since it became more efforts from developers ( I mean, as Rytech points out you had both our work/fixes, and your own ). You should have talked to me before all this drama. You know who helped the Limitline with codes? You know how long brAthena are online? When you began to develop 3CeAM we already had many skills of Archbishop, Ranger and Warlock done. Many codes that were passed to the 3CeAM were ours. I never bothered to say anything, because it involves a friend, who is Limitline. Someone removed all of my credits Wanderer and Minstrel skills that I did. You never give any credit to my code. If I were to ripp anything, I would not be able to develop anything. But that's not what happens, brAthena is the world's most up to date and even contains fixs that 3CeAM not have. Well, then that makes things simple, just add a good firewall filter and block the IPs that are effecting the original attack. If you cannot block, try to find answers that come from an attack address and make connections to an IRC for example. Knowing this, you can contact the IRC server to perform the banning of IPs in the channel ... Giving great job for hacker, wich will exchange all server address in each zombie machines. But try looking through the acess log and error log, if you see strange GET responses, as it may be out there who are attacking and not by UDP. If still continue to down, the attack must be a SYN Flood ... To soften you can activate the syn_cookies.

You are sure that is a botnet? Recently there is a type of attack called 0day. Another day someone tried this attack in brAthena, but it's just updating apache to correct the problem. If the problem persists and you need help, just ask...

Pre-renewal as stable for brAthena?.. or for rAthena? I would love Pre-renewal for stable and Renewal for Trunk, though, I don't really like the renewal mechanics.. rather stick to old Pre-renewal. Also, wouldn't 2 SVNs give rAthena more work to do? Yes, give a lot more work... But it is very well organized. About mechanics is possible just add battle flags for settings, adding something like: conf/battle/renewal.conf, containing all options to active or deactive the mechanics. It would be possible to use these flags without the hassle of creating more than one branch, but there are changes to database and NPCs, so it makes a bad stability and size of the emulator for those who will use the pre-renewal. So i still think better to create two branches.

In brAthena we are doing as Yommy talked for one year. The idea is good... I advise this, so far we had no problems. This is a structure that can be fine in SVN: Branches -> Pre-Renewal | Renewal Developement -> For develop additions and tests Episodes -> For develop new episodes... Pre-renewal may be treated as stable and renewal as trunk.
