  1. I'm starting to find that people don't really know what they're talking about when it comes to the subject of security and their choice of OS.
  2. you have to merge revisions instead of updating.
  3. Lua 5.2 deprecated module() <3

  4. It's harder than it looks because of the large amount of people that use svn for their servers, how many that wont convert and come here posting about it, and how many need help converting. If this were decided before rA went live on the other hand, I could see this being a lot more debated.
  5. pc_setglobalreg(sd,"open",0); oh dear
  6. Lua. So many possibilities!

  7. I would write a plugin or three if this client does get finished.
  8. Got a big update in the works. About 3/4ths done merging this into rAthena Done and I'll continue my work on variable storage/autobonus/finish converting scripts/other stuff I can't think of yet but I'll post it when I remember but those 3 are the biggest issues
  9. The money that funds these games will make an impact. RO1 is on auto-pilot / freemium cash shop mode to fund other Gravity projects.
  10. The idea is fine, just we don't really have a need for it either.
  11. private servers are all the same and people just pile up at whatever server they didnt get banned from yet.
  12. txt should be replaced with sqlite. less work all around especially for new features that are using sql
  13. That's not how double jeopardy works~
  14. Oct 18, 2013 - Moved to http://hercules.ws/board/blog/13/entry-41-get-ready-get-hype-the-road-to-lua-with-hpm/ ------------------ Continued from the same thread on the eA site. This is a development branch that replaces the rAthena script engine with a Lua script engine. The commands have been written, the NPCs have not, and some functionality must be completed. This project is based off the old eAthena project found here: http://eathena-proje...l/DracoRPG/lua/ I just happened across this one day and decided I would make an attempt at finishing it, and props to everybody who worked on it.
  15. This should be the only criteria. The only time I can think of needing more than myself to help test something is a skill.
