  7. I'll be releasing this once the downloads section is working again, but, yesterday morning I decided I'd take a jab at making a sprite from scratch. I'd never done it before, or even attempted it, so I was pretty nervous at how it'd turn out. After seeing a few tips from DevilEvil on a forum he linked me to, I got started. NekoV got me started with the .act files, which were a paaaaain to edit, but glad that they're finished.   8. Once you've added files to a map cache, add them to the map_index.txt file (found in the db folder), and maps_athena.conf (found in the conf folder). Then restart your server and voila, the maps should now be loaded in-game. Make sure they're also in your clientside data (data folder or GRF) so you don't crash on load of the maps in question.

  13. Make sure the client you're using is noted in mmo.h with the correct date, then recompile. Also, if you're using a client past 06092011, you may want to go back to 03152011.

In all seriousness, though, I've been waiting ages for someone to organize an attempt at a new world within RO for ages with regular content updates, while preserving the game mechanics. Even if it was just sprite recolors (as I'm so fond of using/creating), and maps put together using pre-existing models released by Gravity, I'd be satisfied. Though, I will say that I've been head over heels for what's been released for Eclage and Port Malaya thus far. So cute. ;;

  17. Matk for items is added in differently from the RR emulator (if that was merged here). Use a : in the ATK field as seen below: 1601,Rod,Rod,4,50,,400,15:30,,1,3,0x00818315,7,2,2,1,1,1,10,{},{},{} 15:30 15 = Attack of the weapon 30 = Matk of the weapon.
