  2. You can manually remove all those maps which require quests(Wounded Morroc, Nydhogg, Manuk, Splendide, New World all that) just by editing your current Warp Agent script which warps you to all those maps.

  4. I think its supposed to stack like that, because there are two different types of broadcasting methods used in your screenshot. I suggest using @join #main, @channel commands which allow you to message all those who're in #main channel, also you can make it like when all characters login they'll always join #main channel by the use of auto command on login in your script. So, you can @broadcast, and they can give a reply to you by using #main. But, on the other hand they'll stop using megaphones or any NPC announcers, and rely on #main. (unless they want their announcement to be recognized, most likely when selling/buying/trading something or something they feel important which should be announced, as it will make the RED text display at the top as well as bottom.)
  5. yes, you can but you need to keep your pc on 24x7 and you need to have a high-end pc so that players don't lag, but i suggest you not to host at home.

There are two ways(not tested them so can't garuntee that it will work), i'd say try both but make backups as i say or you'll screw everything. -----Option #1 ~ Replacing files in GRF----- - Open data.grf -> Goto data\texture\À¯ÀúÀÎÅÍÆäÀ̽º\login_interface\win_make.bmp -> Extract win_make.bmp somewhere. - Rename the win_make.bmp to win_make2.bmp - Make a new folder and place your win_make2.bmp -> data\texture\À¯ÀúÀÎÅÍÆäÀ̽º\login_interface\win_make2.bmp - Make it a grf with just one file example :- test.grf - Make sure to add it above your server's grf at data.ini -> 0=test.grf, 1=<yourserver>.grf, 2=data.grf, 3=rdata.grf & save. - Now, start your client and make a new character, check if it displays old win_make.bmp. If no errors then its done. If you get errors just delete test.grf & remove 0=test.grf from your data.ini and try Option #2. -----Option #2 ~ Hexing----- - Download HxD - Make a copy of your server's client, rename it to anything example :- test.exe - Run HxD -> File -> Open -> Open the test.exe you just created - Search for (Ctrl+F) -> Choose Hex-Values as Datatype 77 69 6E 5F 6D 61 6B 65 32 2E 62 6D 70 - Replace with 77 69 6E 5F 6D 61 6B 65 2E 62 6D 70 00 - File -> Save - Now, run your test.exe and make a new character, if no errors then its done. If you get errors just delete the test.exe & test.exe.bak.
  7. you might have made mistakes/errors while adding new custom items, try searching the files that you used to add those custom items. When the client doesn't open without giving errors its mostly because of the errors in your new files, so just check if you miss something like "#" in the files which you used to make the new grf.
  8. I made some changes with the mega resistance potion script editing sc_start SC_COMMONSC_RESIST,3600000,10; to 1000; Later i found out that doesn't stack with any card and equipment resistances. I want it to stack with bonus2 bResEff,Eff_Stun(also freeze, stone, sleep, silence, blind, curse, poison, chaos, bleeding, confusion) for 1 hour, and it should also loose its effect on death, dispell, etc. (like it should stack with card,equipment resistances like here - http://rathena.org/board/tracker/issue-8965-mega-resist-potion/)
  9. When you run your client - if it displays in your task manager processes as <yourserver.exe> and it stays without any response, then you can try adding your client exe in Data Execution Prevention (DEP) Also make sure you don't select "Read data folder first" when you diff.

  15. If you are already using a grf and its not showing then i think only other way is hexing the client.

I cant garuntee if this is going to work but you can try to make a new grf so that your old files dont get replaced. you need to place some old client files(2010-04-10) in your new grf, look for these files :- data\texture\À¯ÀúÀÎÅÍÆäÀ̽º\login_interface\win_make data\texture\À¯ÀúÀÎÅÍÆäÀ̽º\login_interface\win_select data\texture\À¯ÀúÀÎÅÍÆäÀ̽º\login_interface\win_select2 These files are the ones you want especially win_make.bmp Just search the folder, you will get all you need in login_interface. But you need to download those old files if you dont have them already.

  21. did you try removing this skill from pre-re skill_db? as its a renewal skill which is not included in pre-re skill_db its only at re skill_db.

  23. your server is pre-renewal or renewal? if its pre-renewal you can just disable the skill at trunk\db\re\skill_db.txt
