I hope this is in the right topic.

 

Well, my questions is, how can I protect my RO-Server correctly agains:

- Bots

- Speedhacks

- Exploit

- DDos

 

I know about the "HackShield" Harmony/Harmonize, but is it really save and good?

Somes guys said, it is not updated.

nProtect GameGuard is used by official servern like "Ragnarok", Flyff, Aion <-- o.O

 

 

It will be nice, if anyone can answer my questions.

This will help us all.

Harmony is going to its end. May I recommend InternalGuard, but try it first.

Yes, its a freeware for LOCALHOST only. So you can get yourself familiarize on how to set it up and how it works, when you want to make it ONLINE or hosted on your VPS, this will come the license file which cost you $25.

Freeware freeware..., guys.. it cost only 25$.

All freeware softwares like GameGuards are useless or completly sh@!.

My opinion is, every "Project" always cost money. If you do your job good, you get the money back.

Yo jezu does it have a splash image like Harmony? :P just askin so that i could edit it for my server when its alive xD

I think internal guard is not too expensive, and interresting. However people says it's very easy to bypass.

On my end I wrote a protection against speedhack & nodelay that works for rathena and server side only, you can contact me by PM if you are interrested

I think that's the only protections existing atm... xD

srsly guys why you always recommend internal guard? it does nothing you can't do without lol

it's not even compatible with all clients and very unstable on rAthena
