Neo-Mind Posted April 17, 2013 Posted April 17, 2013 isnt there a converter that converts from iteminfo.lub to the txt tables? or is it available only the other way around Quote
Shakto Posted April 17, 2013 Posted April 17, 2013 I think you can do that with a shell bash or manually with regex Quote
frenzmu06 Posted April 21, 2013 Author Posted April 21, 2013 (edited) where's to put this files? thanks name the file of your choice: iteminfo.lub = "System" folder while if cskroptioninfo.lub cskroption.lub = "data" folder Edited April 22, 2013 by frenzmu06 Quote
eleriaqueen Posted April 21, 2013 Posted April 21, 2013 Thanks for the release, I'm looking forward to the next updates Quote

I'm having hard time to work out with Client Side area :') Thank you!!! the file i release is an updated iteminfo.lub with the latest translations of 2011~2012 items (2013 working on it), by default the iteminfo.lub you get from kRO is written in korean(written in gibberish text if you don't have korean language installed?-(correct me if i'm wrong w/ this) while if your asking why its iteminfo is aka cskroption = (what i know-answer from my best knowledge) this file is by default named iteminfo.lub which the client read and finds on "System" folder but also can read by the client on "data" folder if named as cskroption.lub (idk if the client can read it on this location w/out the client being diffed); i also heard that some prefer to put it on "data" folder bec of patcher issues where when thier patchers can't patch files on system folder also possible: "sytem" folder = "data" folder iteminfo = cskroptioninfo cskroption towninfo = cstowninfo Edited April 22, 2013 by frenzmu06 Quote
Shakto Posted April 22, 2013 Posted April 22, 2013 frenzmu06, did you add the unstranslated's items from 2013 that i gave you yet ? Quote
Neo-Mind Posted April 22, 2013 Posted April 22, 2013 (edited) isnt the cskroptioninfo & cstowninfo a mod on the client? because i didnt see it being referred by default Edited April 22, 2013 by MStream Quote
Shakto Posted April 22, 2013 Posted April 22, 2013 I think you have to remove the cskr from cskroptioninfo and cs from towninfo Quote
frenzmu06 Posted April 22, 2013 Author Posted April 22, 2013 frenzmu06, did you add the unstranslated's items from 2013 that i gave you yet ? not yet, do you want it? i can add them on the next release if you want but with half translation/ string translation only and still w/ gibberish text (i don't intend to remove the gibberish text on items if i cant translate them, i just leave them there but will leave reference comment) don't worry i am working on them, i'm just little busy irl isnt the cskroptioninfo & cstowninfo a mod on the client? because i didnt see it being referred by default should have wrote cskroption instead of instead of cskroptioninfo i don't really know but my client can read these cskroption & cstowninfo on my data folder (i also have the default files in system folder w/ iteminfo & towninfo but the two are overwritten by the custom ones) don't know what specific patch i had applied on my client (which enabled the change) my weedifgen pack is from Judas I think you have to remove the cskr from cskroptioninfo and cs from towninfo lol no haha, my posts was misleading, it's not cskroptioninfo but rather cskroption (anyway the filename in the packed file is right) sry my bad, i'll edit all cskroptioninfo from my post Quote
frenzmu06 Posted April 28, 2013 Author Posted April 28, 2013 rev6 update, Tanos weapon translation, bunch of non kRO item additions (items from other official servers), also merged items up to 03/21/2013. enjoy more reps for me? LOL 2 Quote

frenzmu06 Posted May 31, 2013 Author Posted May 31, 2013 R/LOOKING FOR: does anybody know the ftp server of: jRO & twRO (any non-kro official server ftps also if you know some) PURPOSE: need to get sprite names of server specific-items from these servers (probably will add sprites too) Quote
Pinky Posted June 1, 2013 Posted June 1, 2013 i havent touched anything in ro yet and i saw this topic. never thought the items structure would be changed into a lua file... my question is, what is the ClassNum for? Quote
Neo-Mind Posted June 1, 2013 Posted June 1, 2013 (edited) ClassNum is the view id you put in item_db. It is essential for weapons because the client refers to ClassNum to check which type of weapon it is and then picks up the sprite from the appropriate folder (I say essential for weapons because for other items client is not dependent on ClassNum value - as far as I know). wow you came in for a really short visit last time. FYI: yea they are moving everything to lua files slowly (there is a slight chance they are also moving job identification also to lua files - since i saw a new file called jobidentity.lua present which combines both pc & npc identity files. Pinky Posted June 1, 2013 Posted June 1, 2013 yea well things changed in my life so i had to say hello and bye again lol im trying to pull things out again. so basically u dont need to change classnum unless ur going to specify a viewid... for weapons?? weird thing is that i saw headgears with an id on them, so im still confused, and i cant test anything until i get a local server and client working up. At least my (semi) server is still alive and running but i wanna update it, and i got more than 200 customs @_@ lol Quote
Neo-Mind Posted June 1, 2013 Posted June 1, 2013 just to be safe its better to put the view id itself for ClassNum for all the items. Quote
Neo-Mind Posted June 2, 2013 Posted June 2, 2013 (edited) well if you are using a client dated later than 2012-04-10 for Renewal or 2012-07-10 for Main Client then this is required. But older ones use the old txt files only. and you can always just write a script which copies the relevant info Edited June 2, 2013 by MStream Quote
Pinky Posted June 3, 2013 Posted June 3, 2013 done XD took me a day to catch up with all these new things Quote
0x8 Posted June 19, 2013 Posted June 19, 2013 (edited) Which has the more priority? itemInfo.lub or item_db.txt? I edited the System/itemInfo.lub - I put for some slots in headgears and I got 4 slotted headgears even without editing my item_db.txt nor my itemslotcounttable.txt. Have I done something wrong? Is this a bug or it's just me? I tested it in 2013 clients I tried Lord Kaho's Horn into 4 slot without editing my item_db.txt and itemslotcounttable.txt.
