Hi

i want to know if this is an issue or something... i use rathena in PRE mode and.. the skills cooldown it's a little more long i have reports of High Wizard Players (they have experience on HW in PRE) and.. yep the cast, coldown etc.. it's a little strange in PRE-RE anyone can say me why? D: i think it's the skills being combined with some RENEWAL formula but i dont have time for search S:

In brief.. the skills cast it's a little strange compared to eAthena (Real PRE).. someone can repair it?

If you're using Pre-renewal, I suggest you comment everything from this file: https://rathena.svn....onfig/renewal.h

Especially, the cast:

/// renewal cast time
/// (disable by commenting the line)
///
/// leave this line to enable renewal casting time algorithms
/// cast time is decreased by DEX * 2 + INT while 20% of the cast time is not reduced by stats.
/// example:
/// on a skill whos cast time is 10s, only 8s may be reduced. the other 2s are part of a
/// "fixed cast time" which can only be reduced by specialist items and skills
#define RENEWAL_CAST

Don't forget to adjust your configurations as well in the conf/battle folder.

Ehh.. nothing the config "skill_amotion_leniency: 90" in "conf/skill.conf" it's really a PRE-RE setting? PRE-RE obeys it.. i think that it's the strange feeling of the skills cast..

Bad English :(

This was added in r15105 so that it can prevent abuse from no delay .act files. Change it if you like but changing so will result in probably abuse from modifications in .act files.

Hi. I also noticed the delay on pre-re skills as if it was combined with RE setting. When I adjusted it to 0, all the delay was gone. I just wanna ask what's the default setting for PRE-RE (not 90)

Hi,

I recently update my eathena to rAthena and I found out that there was a new configuration to prevent the abuse of .act file (nodelay).

I first thought it was great, but then my players noticed that there was a huge difference between rathena skill delay and eathena.

I would like to understand the way it works.

From what I guess, skill_amotion_leniency is supposed to add a server delay(according to the attack motion of the skill) between each skill that can't be bypass with client modifications.

But it adds EXTRA delay and that is really unplaisant for players.

Maybe there is something I don't understand but, isn't that possible to have this settings and not have the extra delay ?

Is that conf only for re or also for pre-re ?

Hm yeah, I must say I also got tons of complains from my players considering the server being pre-RE and yet working with this REnewal-type delay; that made them pretty upset.

Mysterious answered it already, if it seems to high then lower this setting. I do not think anyone really 'knows' the default setting for Pre-RE so you will have to experiment yourselves.

Start at 50-60 like M45T3R suggested =p

There is a way to make this config affects only renewal and affects the suficient to prevent hack (an default) for pre-re? Add some code for that :c the pre-re users need to question someone to know where is that creppy config

Bad english xDd

In our case, to get part of the problem solved we set the "skill_amotion_leniency" to 0 and tweaked the delay_rate a little bit as well (just removing the leniency didn't make the delay as reactive as it used to be)

We considered using Harmony would prevent the modifications that Mysterious talked about.
