Job level is raising abnormally slow

Ok I am using a renewal client. It has been fine until some of my players came to me complaining that their job levels raise extremely slow. They would end up at level 90 1st job just to get to their first job level 50.

I dont understand why this is like thie because I setup my exp.db perfectly.

My server is currently running at 300/300

Did you set your job exp rates correctly in conf/battle/exp.conf? Double-check, sometimes it's easy to miss a 0 off the end and not realise why things aren't working the way they should.

i tried it.. changed it from 50 to 70

but, when job level increased to 51, the progres bar (job level bar) was dissapear.

how can i edit it, so that the progress bar doesnt dissapear till 70. thx

Are you sure you're editing it correctly in the exp.txt table? o_o. Show us your JOB level changes in the exp.txt. Also, did you make sure to restart the server o_O? Also, @jlvl yourself to max, then set @jlvl -70 so you go back to 1 and level normally by killing monsters till you reach 70.

yes i did..

i just would to changed for only spesific classes (just for test)

ok..

- i changed exp.txt like above ( from 50 to 53)

- i tried changed job to 4025 (baby magician)

- and type @joblvup to 50.

but when it went to 50, there was no progress bar (job level bar) appeared. how can i solve this?

Could just be that the client just shows no progress bar however still receives exp, kind of how turning from 99 to 100 where you don't see any change until it happens at one point, a good thing to try is @exp to see how much job exp you currently have and see if you're gaining any.

Could possibly be a client problem. Though, I have my job level higher than 50 and I can still see my job bar, though I'm using 2012-06-18 (which I won't recommend for you to use unless you're experienced with clients).

Have you tried changing it to something else higher than 50 (a bit more)? Like, 60 or something? See if that works. =/ Good point:

i tried your suggestion but it didnt work. i tried changed my client to 2012-06-18 , yeah. it was same. didnt work

can i know your step?

or i can use your exp.txt.. so i can compare it with mine

mybe i got error in my step or sumthing else.. i dunno whats wrong
