Monopoly Posted March 7, 2012 Posted March 7, 2012 Hey guys. I was in eathena.ws last time and I heard from some members that, there is a new board rAthena (This one). Why there is a new board now? What's wrong with the old one. -Monopoly Quote
Pneuma Posted March 7, 2012 Posted March 7, 2012 eAthena is dead and the eAthena Project is dead. rAthena is the new project Quote
Monopoly Posted March 7, 2012 Author Posted March 7, 2012 (edited) Ah okay, well thank you. Ehm so where are the differences now. ? Edited March 7, 2012 by Monopoly Quote
Judas Posted March 7, 2012 Posted March 7, 2012 much more organized obviously xd we have a great growing community, active members, great administration, and make rathena a better place. PLace rathena has it's own svn which is imo is better than eathena https://rathena.svn.sourceforge.net/svnroot/rathena/trunk/ Quote
Monopoly Posted March 7, 2012 Author Posted March 7, 2012 (edited) Ah okay I see what you did there. Thanks Edited March 7, 2012 by Monopoly Quote
ScriptingPhailure Posted March 7, 2012 Posted March 7, 2012 rAthena, from my understanding is not limited by lousy adminstration. If you take a look for yourself they are spitting out updates and bugfixes at an amazing rate that puts eA to shame. Which makes sense since eA was more or less stangant for a while Quote

Syouji Posted March 7, 2012 Posted March 7, 2012 Good question. I have no idea what eA means too. It probably stands for something in here: http://acronyms.thefreedictionary.com/EA Mostly likely has NOTHING to do with eAthena. Quote
Lighta Posted March 7, 2012 Posted March 7, 2012 eA = english athena, since it was japanese at begining Quote
